Data Quality Intern — GSP
Company: Study Now Ltd
Reports to: Senior Data Analyst
Type: Paid Internship
Monday - Friday: 8AM - 4PM OR 9AM - 5PM
3rd of August 2026 - 2nd November2026
About the role
Study Now's International recruitment ecosystem depends on GSP holding accurate, current information on the courses and universities we work with across our operations. Course requirements, intake dates, tuition fees, and entry criteria change frequently on the university side, and where our CRM falls out of step with a university's own published standard, the consequence is felt downstream in poor advising, mismatched applications, and lost trust with partners. Hence we are recruiting Data Quality Interns to work directly under the Senior Data Analyst, focused specifically on keeping course and university data within GSP complete, current, and validated against source.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone early in their career who is meticulous, comfortable with detailed comparative work, and keen to build a foundation in data operations within an education technology environment.
Responsibilities
- Populate and maintain course and university records within GSP, covering programme details, entry requirements, tuition fees, intake dates, and other admissions-relevant fields.
- Source current information directly from university websites, including scraping structured data where appropriate, to keep GSP aligned with each institution's published standard.
- Cross-check existing CRM records against university sources on a rolling basis, identifying where information has changed, lapsed, or drifted from the institution's own listing.
- Flag and correct discrepancies between GSP and university-published information, escalating ambiguous or conflicting cases to the Senior Data Analyst rather than resolving them unsupervised.
- Maintain a clear log of what was checked, when, and what changed, so that all validation work remains traceable.
- Support the Senior Data Analyst with periodic full audits of course and university data, particularly around intake cycles when requirements are most likely to shift.
- Follow data standards and templates provided by the Senior Data Analyst precisely, whilst raising process gaps or recurring inconsistencies where they are noticed.
What we're looking for
- Strong attention to detail; comfortable comparing two sources of information carefully and consistently over time.
- Comfortable navigating university websites to locate and extract programme and admissions information; basic web scraping skills are a plus but not required.
- Basic proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and a willingness to learn platform-specific tools (GSP, Monday.com, Element451).
- Good written English, since much of the work involves interpreting and reconciling text-based information.
- Reliability and consistency; this role depends on steady throughput against agreed coverage targets.
- No prior experience in data analytics is required. What matters most is diligence, coachability, and a genuine interest in keeping information accurate and current.
What you'll gain
- Direct exposure to how a fast-growing, six-country admissions operation maintains accurate course and university data at scale.
- Mentorship from the Senior Data Analyst on data validation, source reconciliation, and the basics of reporting.
- A grounding in the tools (GSP, Monday.com, Element451, Power BI) that are increasingly standard across education technology and CRM-driven organisations.
