Data Technician II/Training Assistant
Overview
Shift: Full-time, Days Monday - Friday, for 80 hours per pay period
This role is a dual role, you will work a .50 FTE as a Data Technician II and a .50 FTE as a Training Assistant, for a full-time status of a 1.0 FTE

Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and maintain trauma registry data with a high level of accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with state, regional, and national trauma data reporting requirements.
- Assist with quality improvement initiatives by preparing reports and identifying data trends.
- Coordinate and support trauma education programs, meetings, and training events.
- Track certifications, continuing education, and training records for trauma team members.
- Prepare educational materials, maintain schedules, and provide administrative support for training activities.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, EMS partners, and multidisciplinary teams to support the hospital's Trauma Program.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED
Experience:
- Two years of experience in an educational, training, or healthcare environment
- 6 months - 2 years of data collection experience preferred
License/Certifications:
- Completion of Trauma Registrar Course through American Trauma society within 1 year of hire
- Abbreviated Injury Scale Trauma Coding Course through Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine within 1 year of hire
- ICD-10 CM Trauma Injury Coding Course through American Trauma society within 1 year of hire
