And so much more.​   </p> <p> </p> <p>​Come break through with us.  </p> <p><br> </p> <p>Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.</p><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px">Day to Day Responsibilities:</H2> </div><div><p>•    Designs, develops and programs methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse “big data” sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement. <br>•    Interacts with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments. <br>•    Develops and codes software programs, algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources. <br>•    Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments. <br>•    Follows standard practices and procedure in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px">Education &amp; Experience </H2> </div><div><p>•    BS/MS degree in Statistic, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, Industrial Engineering or related disciplines<br>•    One years or above experiences in data analytics field</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px">Required Skills</H2> </div><div><p>•    Familiar with data analysis technics (e.g. data mining/machine learning)<br>•    Computer: Excellent Excel, Access, power BI<br>•    Programming: Python, SQL, Java (Hadoop is a plus)<br>•    Statistic tool: Minitab/SAS/SPSS<br>•    Excellent communication skill in cross-department project and collaborations<br>•    Good English comprehension in speaking, writing and reading.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px">Desired Skills </H2> </div><div><p>•    Project management skill<br>•    Experience in implementing DMAIC methodology and leading 6-sigma project<br>•    Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin).</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px">Soft Skills</H2> </div><div><p>•    Strong ownership of achieving plant goal<br>•    Sense of urgency and creativity to handle project issues and adapt plan to meet objectives <br>•    Flexibility to adapt to changing environment; be a change agent to help others through change<br>•    Cross-cultural Sensitivity<br>•    Customer Focus<br>•    Communication skill and positive working attitude in team</p></div></div></div><p> </p> <p>Corning is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and considers requests for reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable laws.
