The Ford Motor Credit Company (“Ford Credit”) has received the regulatory conditional approval to form Ford Credit Bank('the Bank') to be headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Bank will create innovative and simplified banking solutions to help customers across the country finance the purchase of new Ford vehicles, parts, accessories, EV Infrastructure and software and will accept deposits with competitive rates on FDIC-insured savings accounts and certificates of deposit. The Bank will be a direct and wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Credit, an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company (“Ford”).

The Deposit Operations team at Ford Credit Bank is a high-functioning, detail-oriented group responsible for the foundational administrative and legal integrity of our de novo bank. We serve as the engine that keeps the Bank running smoothly, managing complex legal requests and account lifecycle events with precision and speed. Our team values accountability, continuous improvement, and the ability to navigate a rapidly changing digital landscape. We work cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, and Customer Service to ensure that every transaction and account modification meets the highest regulatory standards while protecting the Bank’s reputation and our customers’ trust.
The Operations Specialist reports to the Deposit Operations Manager and is responsible for performing advanced operational and compliance functions within the Deposit Operations Department. The Specialist is proficient in the day-to-day operations of the department, including reviewing and approving digital account opening applications, customer request taking appropriate actions on deposits, account research, verifications of deposit, and other items with accuracy and thoroughness. This role also serves as a subject matter expert in processing compulsory legal orders—such as subpoenas, levies, and garnishments—and managing complex account administrative tasks including Power of Attorney (POA) and deceased account processing.
The Specialist will exercise independent judgment to resolve complicated issues, mitigate operational risk, and ensure all actions comply with federal and state laws. This position is critical to maintaining the Bank’s operational excellence during its growth and scaling phase.
What you'll do...
- Core Operations: Proficient in the day-to-day operations of the department including processing daily case management cases and taking appropriate actions on deposits, account ownership changes, verifications of deposit, and other items with accuracy and thoroughness.
- Legal Processing: Review, evaluate, and process all forms of compulsory legal process, including subpoenas, search warrants, tax warrants, IRS levies, writs, and garnishments, utilizing cloud-based service of process intake portals.
- Account Administration: Manage high-complexity account functions, including processing deceased account claims, reviewing Power of Attorney documents, and executing account ownership changes with accuracy.
- Digital Operations: Review and process digital account opening applications, demonstrating sound judgment in decisioning and providing clear explanations for approvals or denials.
- Risk Mitigation: Scrupulously maintain the secrecy and confidentiality required by federal and state laws (BSA, OFAC, and privacy regulations) when handling sensitive legal orders and client records.
- Research : Conduct specialized research to resolve member account transactions, adjustments, and subpoena-related fee tracking.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in banking operations or compliance.
At least 2 years of specific experience in processing compulsory legal orders (subpoenas, levies, garnishments).
Deep understanding of banking laws and regulations, including BSA, AML, OFAC, USA PATRIOT Act, and UDAAP.

- Experience in a de novo, fintech, or high-growth digital banking environment.
- Advanced proficiency in cloud-based legal intake portals (e.g., Safari SOP) and core banking systems (e.g., Symitar).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret legal documents that carry the force of law and affect high-value client accounts.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines imposed by courts and regulatory agencies.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage difficult conversations and professional inquiries from law enforcement and attorneys.

This position is a salary grade 4 and ranges from $45,500-$84,600.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
