What you’ll build Summary: Industry AI is a team of industry experts who lead and build on SAP's strategy to verticalize the Business Suite for each industry with an end-to-end perspective, delivering AI and Business Data Cloud innovations, and fostering a world-class ecosystem. To accomplish this, Industry AI strategically connects our Solution Areas along industry core processes, driving product management end-to-end throughout the SAP portfolio, and supporting market success by aligning across all relevant functions. The Role: As a Developer, you’ll work in an EPT team of experienced domain experts to make sure customer problems are tackled in an outcome focused approach that fosters innovation by short term prototyping and highly empowered product discovery by using AI. You will participate in the development of new features and agents, from idea to implementation and support Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) with customers to create an Autonomous Commodity Management. What you bring <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Software engineering background for 2+ years</li> <li>Experience in CAP, JAVA/Node JS, BTP, CDS. OO ABAP and SAP Fiori</li> <li>Experience with AI tools like Claude Code, EPX, Joule</li> <li>Passion for building products with high quality, which is covered by test automation</li> <li>Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset</li> <li>Fluent in English; good German language skills</li> <li>Background in financial mathematics and commodity management is a plus</li> <li>We’ll provide you with all the onboarding and support necessary for a smooth start</li> </ul> Where you belong You will be part of an engineering team in Industry AI within Agribusiness & Commodities for Risk Analytics.
