How You'll Help Us Connect the World: The Import & Export Data Compliance Specialist is responsible to implement quick solutions to cover government changes (USA/MEX), manage databases, automate our internal processes, research and identify applicable regulatory and industry compliance standards, create and optimize reports to quickly response to Mexico government requirements, and continue with maintain of in-house apps and databases, complying with the company's existing security codes standard. Duties and Responsibilities <ul> <li>Work with end users to create solutions to gather requirements and ensure best practices in operations process.</li> <li>Design, implement, and support solutions for the development of foreign trade matters.</li> <li>Run test scripts against code to ensure quality delivery.</li> <li>Resolve code issues urgently.</li> <li>Ability to debug code and resolve errors in development.</li> <li>Documentation of implemented solutions.</li> <li>Support with end user of customs software.</li> <li>Manage customs databases, maintenance and updates.</li> <li>Create and follow up tickets with customs software supplier.</li> <li>Solving coding problems and writing functional and efficient JavaScript/React code.</li> <li>Writing robust test cases to confirm code works efficiently and effectively.</li> <li>Creating instructions to help others and reviewing code before it goes into the model.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> Required Qualifications for Consideration: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science preferably.</li> <li>2+ years of experience in a software development role.</li> <li>Intermediate English</li> <li>Expertise in C# development.</li> <li>Experience with software testing and test-driven development.</li> <li>High personal standards for code quality, testing and design.</li> <li>Excellent customer service.</li> <li>SQL Databases.</li> <li>MS Visual Basic.</li> <li>Ability to working across departments and/or cross functional personnel located at multiple facilities within Mexico.</li> <li>Interpersonal skills and decision-making are essential.</li> <li>Teamwork and analytical skills.</li> <li>Ability to investigate and solve problems with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Ability to communicate problems and progress to a non-technical team.</li> <li>Learn new tools or methodologies as required by the project.</li> <li>Good communication and collaboration skills.</li> </ul> You will excite us if you have: <ul> <li>Experience with ERP (SAP, Oracle).</li> <li>Experience with MS Office (Access, Excel).</li> <li>Experience with Annex 24 software (ZOE, Vastera, Prisma).</li> <li>Knowledge of customs processes, Datastage, Trade programs.</li> </ul> What Happens After You Apply: Learn how to prepare yourself for the next steps in our hiring process by Visiting: <a href="https://jobs.vistancenetworks.com/content/How-We-Hire/?locale=en_US" target="_blank" rel="noopener">https://jobs.vistancenetworks.com/content/How-We-Hire/?locale=en_US</a> Why Join Us?
