With a strong commercial pipeline and a culture built around speed, ownership, and collaboration, this is an exciting time to join a company redefining how critical energy infrastructure is designed and delivered.</p> <p>Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the <strong>Director of Sales</strong> will be responsible for developing and expanding strategic relationships across the North American data center and AI infrastructure market. This individual will partner closely with hyperscalers, colocation providers, developers, EPC firms, utilities, and other key stakeholders to identify opportunities, influence project strategy, and position ON.energy's solutions on some of the industry's largest and most complex infrastructure projects.</p> <p>This is a highly consultative enterprise sales role requiring the ability to navigate complex organizations, engage executive decision-makers, and manage long-cycle opportunities from early specification through commercial execution. The ideal candidate combines technical curiosity with strong commercial acumen, thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and is passionate about helping customers solve complex energy challenges that power the next generation of digital infrastructure.</p> <p class="s20"><span class="s18">Location is flexible within North America</span><span class="s18">.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></span><span class="s18">The role will<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></span><span class="s18">require</span><span class="s18"><span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span>significant travel to customer, partner, and project sites across the United States.</span></p> <h2 data-section-id="18w7bso" data-start="1707" data-end="1730">Key Responsibilities</h2> <h3>Strategic Business Development</h3> <ul> <li>Develop and execute account strategies that expand ON.energy's presence across hyperscalers, colocation providers, developers, EPC firms, engineering consultants, utilities, and other key stakeholders in the data center and critical power ecosystem.</li> <li>Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities supporting large-scale AI, cloud, and mission-critical infrastructure projects throughout North America.</li> <li>Engage customers early in the project lifecycle to influence electrical architecture, project strategy, and technical specifications before procurement decisions are finalized.</li> <li>Build long-term relationships with decision-makers who shape the design, construction, and operation of next-generation energy infrastructure.</li> <li>Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, customer needs, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.</li> </ul> <h3>Customer &amp; Technical Engagement</h3> <ul> <li>Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their operational challenges and aligning ON.energy's solutions to deliver reliable, scalable, and resilient power infrastructure.</li> <li>Build strong executive and technical relationships with owners, operators, engineering firms, contractors, utilities, and strategic partners.</li> <li>Lead consultative discussions that clearly communicate the technical and commercial value of ON.energy's energy storage and power solutions.</li> <li>Partner with Sales Engineering and technical teams to develop customer solutions that are technically sound, commercially competitive, and executable.</li> <li>Support technical presentations, workshops, and customer engagements throughout the sales cycle.</li> </ul> <h3>Sales Leadership &amp; Opportunity Management</h3> <ul> <li>Manage complex enterprise sales opportunities from initial engagement through proposal development, commercial negotiations, contract execution, and successful project transition.</li> <li>Maintain a healthy pipeline of strategic opportunities while providing accurate forecasts for bookings, revenue, and project timing.</li> <li>Lead customer presentations, executive meetings, and commercial discussions that position ON.energy as a trusted long-term partner.</li> <li>Successfully navigate complex, multi-stakeholder buying environments and long sales cycles common within large infrastructure projects.</li> </ul> <h3>Strategic Partnerships</h3> <ul> <li>Develop and strengthen relationships with EPC firms, engineering consultants, technology partners, utilities, and industry influencers that impact project design and purchasing decisions.</li> <li>Identify opportunities for joint business development, strategic partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.</li> <li>Leverage partner relationships to increase project visibility, specification opportunities, and long-term customer growth.</li> </ul> <h3>Cross-Functional Collaboration</h3> <ul> <li>Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales Engineering, Operations, Project Delivery, Finance, and Executive Leadership to ensure customer commitments align with operational capabilities and business objectives.</li> <li>Provide market insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to help shape product strategy, commercial priorities, and future growth initiatives.</li> <li>Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes, customer engagement strategies, and go-to-market best practices as ON.energy continues to scale.</li> </ul> <h2 data-section-id="1a9n6ci" data-start="4336" data-end="4363">Qualiifications</h2> <ul data-start="4365" data-end="4899"> <li data-section-id="1l0oi6i" data-start="4365" data-end="4464">Background in electrical engineering, power systems, or energy infrastructure strongly preferred.</li> <li data-section-id="ocle1x" data-start="4465" data-end="4571">Experience with energy storage integration, microgrids, distributed generation, or utility coordination.</li> <li data-section-id="1w0lbk0" data-start="4572" data-end="4706">Familiarity with data center design standards and resiliency requirements (Tier III / IV environments, N+1, 2N architectures, etc.).</li> <li data-section-id="m5fdp3" data-start="4707" data-end="4792">Existing relationships within the data center development and operations ecosystem.</li> <li data-section-id="1amh140" data-start="4793" data-end="4899">Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy Systems, Business, or related field;
