Purpose of the role
This is an exciting time to work in General Mills' Supply Chain & ITQ Organization! We are accelerating Digital Transformation of our Product Information Capabilities (PIC) capabilities to provide a competitive advantage to our business. To this end, we are looking for a D&T Associate Analyst, with passion for Product Information Management (PIM) and (Master Data Management) MDM to join our Product Information Capabilities team.
The PIM / MDM Engineering team requires agile team members who can support ecommerce by creating the systems of records and developing rightful integrations which would help in sourcing, validating, publishing, and quality checking the data that our customers use to create the digital shelf and our product’s detail pages. This would need a team which is well versed with managing Product Master Data. The vision is to expand the platform further to benefit other business areas
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Understand, support, and continuously improve MDM and PIM business processes.
· Partner with internal customer teams and eCommerce teams to provide effective product information support.
· Support and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) for implemented solutions to ensure business readiness.
· Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues and errors related to MDM and PIM business processes in a timely manner.
· Proactively identify opportunities to streamline and enhance business processes, with a strong focus on efficiency and quality.
· Manage or support the onboarding and maintenance of product information, including processes to collect, groom, publish, validate, audit, and assure high-
quality product data for customers.
· Establish, monitor, and report on KPIs related to PIM and MDM performance and data quality.
· Manage stakeholder expectations through clear, proactive, and effective communication.
· Work successfully in an international, multi-cultural, and collaborative environment.
· Demonstrate a proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
· Bring strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and a bias for action to effectively address business and system challenges.
· Show eagerness to learn, adapt quickly to new business processes and technologies, and continuously build domain expertise.
· Exhibit strong time management skills, decisiveness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
· Working knowledge of Stibo STEP is a plus
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Full time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory- Note: This is the minimum education criteria which cannot be altered); bachelor’s in computer (BE or BSc) or STEM fields
- Working knowledge of PIM and MDM tools
- Experience with PIM workflows, data quality error analysis and workbench error resolution
- Good Business Analysis Skills or engineering skills willing to take up BA roles
- High level experience of Data Syndication
- Experience in FMCG industry will be a plus
