About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Stibo STEP PIM/MDM professional to join our Product Information Capabilities (PIC) team as a D&T Analyst – Product Information Capabilities.
In this role, you will be the techno-functional analyst for our enterprise Product Information Management (PIM) and Master Data Management (MDM) capabilities on Stibo STEP, working closely with business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and external partners. You will combine Stibo STEP technical skills with a strong understanding of product data, processes, and governance to deliver high-quality, reliable product information to our customers and internal systems.
Key Responsibilities
Product Information & MDM/PIM Analysis
- Understand and support PIM and MDM business processes across the product lifecycle (collect, enrich, validate, approve, publish).
- Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements for solution / development teams.
- Engage with internal customer teams, ecommerce, digital, and commercial teams on product information support and enhancements.
- Manage or support onboarding and maintenance of product information, ensuring data is complete, consistent, validated, and customer ready.
Stibo STEP – Techno-functional Ownership
- Act as a hands-on Stibo STEP analyst, able to:
- Understand and work with the Stibo STEP data model (entities, attributes, hierarchies, relationships, inheritance, etc.).
- Able to support requirement analysis and design in Stibo STEP workflows, business rules, validations, UI configurations, dashboards, and tasks.
- Understand Stibo STEP integration end points (APIs, exports/imports, downstream feeds) to be able to collaborate with integration teams.
- Support environment configuration, deployments, and defect analysis in STEP.
- Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to ensure scalable, robust, and compliant solutions on the Stibo STEP platform.
Delivery, Support & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure acceptance testing of solutions (functional testing, regression, data validation, and UAT support).
- Provide L2/L3 functional and technical support for issues/errors in PIM and MDM processes, including impact analysis and root-cause investigation.
- Identify and propose process and system improvements to streamline product information flows and enhance data quality.
- Establish, monitor, and report on KPIs/metrics around PIM and MDM (data quality, SLA adherence, issue trends, process efficiency).
- Work in an international, multi-cultural environment, aligning with global and regional teams, and managing time zone overlaps as required.
Stakeholder Management & Ways of Working
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communication (business, IT, vendors), providing clear updates on requirements, timelines, risks, and issues.
- Partner with project managers, product owners, and scrum teams to deliver enhancements and projects on time and with quality.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, bias for action, decisiveness, and effective time management in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5–8 years of total IT experience, preferably in enterprise applications, data, or digital domains.
- Proven hands-on experience (minimum ~3–4 years) in Stibo STEP MDM/PIM including:
- Practical exposure to Stibo STEP data modeling for product, hierarchy, and reference data.
- Experience with workflows, business rules, validations, and web UI configuration.
- Familiarity with integration patterns (file-based, API-based, real-time/batch) and troubleshooting data/interface issues.
- Solid understanding of PIM/MDM concepts, such as:
- Data governance and stewardship
- Product hierarchies, taxonomy, attributes, and classifications
- Data quality rules and validations
- Multi-channel product data publishing (ecommerce, marketplaces, internal systems)
- Experience working as a business analyst, techno-functional analyst, or product owner proxy in a product/data platform team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Stibo STEP in a SaaS / cloud environment is an advantage.
- Exposure to consumer-packaged goods (CPG), retail, or ecommerce product information domains.
- Knowledge of integration technologies (e.g., REST APIs, message queues, ETL tools, data pipelines).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum ways of working.
- Strong SQL / data analysis skills to investigate and validate data issues.
- Experience in defect management, release management, and environment coordination.
