This role goes beyond traditional occupational health and safety responsibilities by serving as a focal point for machine safety excellence. The successful candidate will be expected to actively develop and strengthen machine safety practices, drive LOTO compliance and energy isolation programs, support machinery-related risk reduction initiatives, and act as a trusted advisor to production and cross-functional teams on all machine safety-related matters.</div></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Main Tasks and Responsibilities</b></H2>

<li>Leading and supporting <strong>Machine Safety</strong> initiatives across the site</li>
<li>Conducting <strong>Machinery Assessments</strong> and participating in <strong>Machine Safety Improvement Projects</strong></li>
<li>Acting as the site's <strong>Machine Safety Subject Matter Expert (SME)</strong></li>
<li>Driving compliance with <strong>Machine Safety Standards</strong>, regulations, and internal requirements</li>
<li>Supporting and developing <strong>LOTO (Lockout/Tagout)</strong> and <strong>Energy Isolation Programs</strong></li>
<li>Evaluating <strong>Residual Energy Hazards</strong> and implementing appropriate control measures</li>
<li>Supporting technical reviews of new and existing <strong>Production Equipment</strong></li>
<li>Partnering with Production and Engineering teams to reduce machinery-related risks andÂ
<div>with regional <strong>EHS</strong> subject matter experts, managers, and cross-functional teams</div>
</li>
<li>Driving continuous improvement in <strong>Machine Safety</strong>, <strong>LOTO</strong>, and workplace safety processes</li>

<div>Evaluating EHS implications of changes in facility layouts, machinery, manufacturing processes, and technologies</div>

</div><div><ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related technical field</li>
<li style="font-weight:bold"><strong>Intermediate level English communication skills, both written and spoken</strong></li>
<li>Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in a production-facing EHS role</li>
<li>Strong technical exposure with hands-on experience around manufacturing equipment, processes, and workplace safety</li>
<li>Previous experience in Occupational Health & Safety / Workplace Safety is a strong advantage</li>
<li>Experience in machine safety, machinery assessments, and technical risk evaluations</li>
<li>Sound knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), residual energy management, and machine safeguarding principles</li>
<li>
<div><strong>CMSE (Certified Machinery Safety Expert)</strong> certification or equivalent machinery safety qualification is considered a strong <strong>advantage</strong></div>
