Overview The EHS Systems & Processes Analyst is responsible for ensuring employee safety by identifying, evaluating and controlling workplace risks in line with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and PepsiCo standards. The role also ensures compliance with national environmental requirements and PepsiCo environmental standards. Oversight and management of the below items will be critical in delivering these responsibilities, implement procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and GEHSMS, ISO45001, ISO14001 and PepsiCo standards. Ensure compliance with applicable Regulations and By-Laws. Manage and maintain insurance certification. Responsibilities EHS systems compliance Implement and manage EHS systems (GEHSMS, MyEhs etc.) to ensure compliance with PepsiCo EHS standards, Occupational Health and Safety requirements and applicable management systems. Periodic reviews and continuous improvement plan to be predefined and adhered to. Environmental risk management Manage environmental hazards and risks to ensure compliance with PepsiCo environmental management systems, ISO 14001 and national and local environmental standards. Always ensure regulatory compliance. Legal and statutory compliance Liaise with relevant statutory bodies, maintain legal registers and ensure all required EHS records, certifications and fees remain up to date. Ensure legal and statutory compliance and reporting is achieved at all times. Audits, training and corrective actions Conduct regular audits, close out findings within required timeframes and deliver training programmes so employees understand their EHS responsibilities. Ensure set objectives for GEHSMS is achieved. Incident management and leadership reporting Lead incident investigations, confirm root causes, ensure corrective actions are implemented and inform management of contraventions, risks or legislative changes. Ensure system updates and reports are timely executed Qualifications Matric 3 years Degree in a relevant safety, environmental, engineering or related field.
