The Charles Lea Center is seeking a detail-oriented Electronic Health Record (EHR) Analyst to support and optimize the Therap Electronic Health Record (EHR) system across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee. This position serves as the primary resource for Therap training, support, reporting, and data analysis, helping ensure documentation quality, regulatory compliance, and effective system utilization. Working closely with organizational leadership, the EHR Analyst trains staff, provides technical support, generates reports, and helps maximize the value of EHR data to support quality services and organizational success.
Position Summary
Charles Lea Center is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electronic Health Record (EHR) Analyst to support the organization's ongoing efforts to effectively store, utilize, and analyze service documentation within the Therap Electronic Health Record (EHR) system across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee. The EHR Analyst serves as the organization's subject matter expert for Therap EHR, providing training, technical support, data analysis, reporting, and compliance oversight. This position works closely with the Chief Program Officer, Vice President of Business Intelligence, Program Leadership, and other departments to maximize system utilization, improve operational efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and support quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Therap EHR Administration & Support
- Serve as the primary trainer for all program staff using Therap EHR software.
- Provide ongoing technical assistance and support to employees utilizing Therap.
- Monitor organizational use of Therap modules to ensure optimal utilization.
- Support staff competency through individualized training, workshops, webinars, and educational resources.
- Troubleshoot internal issues and answer staff questions related to Therap functionality.
- Schedule, coordinate, and confirm training opportunities across the organization.
- Assist in maintaining and updating Therap-related policies and procedures.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Business Intelligence to collect, analyze, and interpret organizational data within Therap.
- Utilize Therap AI analytics tools to conduct audits, identify trends, monitor compliance, and reduce organizational risk.
- Generate reports, dashboards, and presentations to support programs operating in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
- Provide data and reporting support through the BI Collaborative platform.
- Present findings and communicate the value of Therap data to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Generate dashboard metrics and reporting for the Quality and Compliance Department.
- Provide reports and data analysis to Program Managers and Directors as needed.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Work closely with the Service Billing Department to ensure documentation supports billing requirements and claims processing.
- Perform regular audits to ensure documentation quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Meet with Program Directors and Managers to review findings and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify process improvements and enhance organizational training initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with departments throughout the organization to ensure efficient communication and information sharing.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to the Chief Program Officer, Vice President of Business Intelligence, and Senior Leadership Team regarding system enhancements and staff development opportunities.
- Support organizational initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
Required:
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with the population served or in a related field.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience working with Therap EHR or similar electronic health record systems.
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of Therap EHR software.
- Strong computer proficiency.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace applications.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and generate meaningful reports.

Work Environment
This position operates primarily in a professional office environment with flexibility for remote work. Regular interaction with staff, leadership, and cross-functional teams is required.
Physical Requirements
This role involves regular standing, walking, lifting (up to 15 lbs), and hands-on support. Reasonable accommodations are available.
Travel
Minimal travel to North Carolina and Tennessee may be required.
