Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced EMEA Benefits and Absences Senior Analyst to join our EMEA HR team, based in Poland. This role offers the opportunity to lead benefits implementation and absence management across Europe, Middle East, and Africa, with the opportunity to learn about and support compensation practices. You will be a key technical resource supporting our EMEA benefit schemes, policies, and absence administration.
Reporting to: EMEA HR Director (UK), with dotted line reporting to Director, Global Compensation and Benefits (US)
Role Split & Focus
80% – EMEA Benefits and Absences
20% – EMEA Compensation
This is primarily a Benefits and Absences role. While compensation exposure is valuable, we can train a strong benefits specialist in compensation methodology. Your core expertise must be in benefits strategy, scheme administration, and absence management.
Key Responsibilities
Benefits & Absences Administration (80%)
Manage and support the administration of health insurance, pension, statutory and voluntary benefit schemes across EMEA market
Coordinate with local administrators, benefits providers, and insurance brokers across multiple countries to ensure compliance and timely delivery
Develop and maintain absence management policies and procedures aligned with local employment law
Manage return-to-work processes, sick leave, parental leave, and other statutory absences across diverse EMEA jurisdictions
Monitor and report on absence trends, identifying risk areas and recommending interventions
Ensure benefits and absence policies comply with local legal requirements and employment regulations
Provide technical guidance to managers and employees on benefits entitlements and absence policies
Manage benefits communication campaigns and educational materials for employees
Compensation & Analytics (20%)
Support compensation analysis and benchmarking activities as directed
Assist in the development and maintenance of compensation data and equity analyses
Collaborate on total rewards communications and annual salary review cycles
Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to develop competitive and equitable compensation recommendations.
Perform compensation data audits to ensure the accuracy of job profiles, salary ranges, bonus targets, and other compensation-related data within Workday.
Support regional compensation projects, including job architecture reviews, market benchmarking, sales compensation reviews, and organizational design initiatives.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with Finance, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits team and HR Business Partners on benefits and absence matters
Prepare reports, dashboards, and management information for leadership
Contribute to process improvements and system implementations (e.g., benefits platforms, absence management systems, global broker implementation)
Required Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 5 years' direct experience in EMEA benefits and/or absence management
Proven expertise in health insurance, pension schemes, and statutory absence administration across multiple countries
Strong knowledge of benefits programmes in UK, France, Germany, Finland, and Netherlands; additional EMEA country experience is advantageous
Experience managing multi-country payroll integration and benefits administration platforms
Working knowledge of absence management best practices and occupational health liaison
Experience with HRIS/HCM systems (e.g., Workday) is advantageous
Fluent English; additional EMEA language skills are beneficial

Deep understanding of benefits scheme design, funding, and administration
Proficiency in pension regulations (defined contribution, defined benefit, auto-enrolment)
Knowledge of health and wellness programme management
Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills

Excellent stakeholder management across cultures and regions
Problem-solving mindset and ability to navigate complex multi-country scenarios
Clear written and verbal communication for both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

The salary range in Poland for this position is 128,000.00 to 160,000.00 PLN Annual.
For sales roles, this range includes the commission target. For non-sales roles, this is a base salary only range; additional bonus eligibility may apply.
