Enterprise Data and Governance Analyst
Purpose of the role
To develop, implement, and maintain effective governance frameworks for all data and records across the bank's global operations.
Accountabilities
- Development and maintenance of a comprehensive data and records governance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitoring data quality and records metrics and compliance with standards across the organization.
- Identification and addressing of data and records management risks and gaps.
- Development and implementation of a records management programme that ensures the proper identification, classification, storage, retention, retrieval and disposal of records.
- Development and implementation of a data governance strategy that aligns with the bank's overall data management strategy and business objectives.
- Provision of Group wide guidance and training on Data and Records Management standard requirements.

To be successful as an "Enterprise Data and Governance Analyst", you should have experience with:
- Post graduation degree in Accounting, Finance, Business administration or a related discipline /Masters.
- Preparation of high-quality governance materials, including committee papers, briefing documents, presentations, and meeting minutes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely distribution.
- Coordination, facilitation, and governance of senior management forums and committees, including agenda management, stakeholder engagement, action tracking, and decision documentation.
- Demonstrated experience within Governance, Risk, Controls, Assurance, Compliance, or Operational Risk functions, with a strong understanding of risk management and control frameworks.
- Management, tracking, monitoring, and reporting of issues, actions, and remediation activities, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to governance requirements.
- Production of Management Information (MI), dashboards, and executive reports to support oversight, performance monitoring, informed decision-making, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex and sensitive information to senior audiences.
- Strong understanding of Data Governance requirements.
- Prior experience working within controls, governance, risk, or assurance function.
- Experience producing data visualization & management reporting to support governance and decision making.
Desirable skillsets/ good to have:
- Hands-on experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power apps and Copilot.
- Exposure to governance frameworks, risk assessment, and controls within Finance or Risk functions.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as experience with governance frameworks, policies as well as job-specific skillsets.
This role will be based out of Chennai/ Pune.
