<p><strong>Summary / Objective</strong></p>
<p>The Fiber Splicing & Testing Analyst will review, process, and manage the technical data generated by on-site fiber splicing and testing crews. You will provide the analytical support and operational oversight required to successfully service the hyperscaler client. You will use independent judgment to evaluate test results against compliance guidelines, enforce strict quality standards, and ensure all project documentation is delivered on time, to specifications, and with the utmost accuracy.</p>

<ul>
<li><strong>Data Analysis & Quality Control:</strong> Review and analyze all optical testing data (OTDR, OLTS, VFL, and fiber characterization), ensuring accurate interpretation of test results (e.g., SOR files). Guarantee that insertion loss and return loss meet stringent hyperscaler standards.</li>
<li><strong>Reporting & Documentation:</strong> Utilize project management software and testing applications to build daily progress reports, maintain accurate splicing matrices, and manage the repository of test results for client hand-off.</li>
<li><strong>Troubleshooting Support:</strong> Identify anomalies, optical link failures, macrobends, or dirty connectors from test data and provide actionable recommendations to the Site Supervisor and field crews for remediation.</li>
<li><strong>Cross-functional Interface:</strong> Act as a technical liaison between field technicians, the Site Supervisor, engineering, and quality assurance teams to implement needed areas of change and continuous improvements.</li>
<li><strong>Compliance & Risk Management:</strong> Monitor field data for compliance with site-specific rules and clean-room environment restrictions, reporting identified risks or recurring quality issues to management.</li>

</div><div><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></p>

<li><strong>Analytical & Problem Solving:</strong> Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to review complex test data, resolve recurring field problems, and minimize optical link failures.</li>
<li><strong>Technical / Software:</strong> Advanced proficiency with testing and reporting software (e.g., EXFO FastReporter, Viavi) and computer skills including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Google office applications.</li>
<li><strong>Industry Knowledge:</strong> Thorough understanding of hyperscaler network architectures (spine-and-leaf), high-fiber-count ribbon splicing, single-mode/multi-mode deployment, and fiber optic testing methodologies.</li>
<li><strong>Communication & Interpersonal:</strong> Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills to effectively communicate technical findings to field crews and management.</li>
<li><strong>Time Management:</strong> Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage large datasets, and meet strict regulatory deadlines.</li>
