At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. <div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Overview</b></H2> </div><div><p>Gathers financial information, analyzes them, and prepares financial reports that contribute to the plant's strategic decision-making.</p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Requirements</b></H2> </div><div><p><strong>BUSINESS STATEMENT</strong></p> <p>The Energy Business Unit is currently seeking a financial analyst to join the global operations finance and will partner with Ops teams and global FP&amp;A.</p> <p>The Energy Business Unit is a $1.8 billion business with over 3,500 employees and over 10 manufacturing sites, in EMEA, US, Mexico and China. </p> <p> </p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Support monthly closing &amp;forecasting cycles and yearly budget process (FP&amp;A Ops finance).</li> <li>Bridges results (actual/fcst/budget) and communicates gaps of performance in a comprehensive way to enable management decisions and conclusions.</li> <li>Consolidate capex and help create visibility on the prioritization of the investment to be made (by category and region).</li> <li>Track and reconcile conversion productivity on monthly basis by plant and ensure proper reporting.</li> <li>Consolidation of the ACOP/SCOP file and processing the tie out on monthly level.</li> <li>Communicate with the Hyperion team for scenario opening and be the lead on the ACOP/SCOP go-live project.</li> <li>Consolidate adhoc requests from 8 sites.</li> <li>Provide service and support in terms of analysis and data to ops functional leaders.</li> <li>Establish and maintain scorecard, bowling chart monthly, and update/restate bowling chart annually.</li> <li>Deploy TEOA within the Ops finance team and maintain the rigor on projects tracking.</li> <li>Standardization and automation of reporting.</li> <li>Performing cost center control, and functional spending for Central Ops team.</li> <li>Project work and adhoc analysis.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Key experience and attribute</p> <ul> <li>Degree in Accounting or Finance.</li> <li>3+ years of finance experience or equivalent in a global manufacturing company.</li> <li>Plant controlling and or international experience is a plus </li> <li>Good SAP knowledge is a strong plus</li> <li>Understanding of manufacturing organizations and supply chains, manufacturing budgeting, forecast processes.</li> <li>Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and PPT</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills</li> <li>Strong problem solving, analytical skills and strategic thinking</li> <li>Accurate, systematic, and independent work style</li> <li>Ability to work to tight deadlines within a team environment, proactive, organized and results oriented strong continuous improvement mindset focused on generating information and recommendations, not just data</li> <li>Analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skill set with an acute attention to detail, requiring minimal supervision.</li> <li>Experience in statistical analysis and financial modelling</li> <li>Culturally sensitive and Comfortable to work in a fast-paced, international matrix organization</li> <li>Continuous improvement mindset.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What your background should look like</b></H2> </div><div><p>Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional level experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level</p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Competencies</b></H2> </div><div><div>Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork</div></div></div></div>
