The office contains multifunctional business capabilities and is integral in furthering the growth and transformation of KKR.</p> <p><strong>TEAM OVERVIEW</strong></p> <p>KKR’s Finance, Tax, and Accounting team oversees the firm’s tax compliance, credit and accounting, and reporting matters to produce analytical insights that drive business decisions and long-term success. The team is responsible for designing efficient frameworks through internal and external data and reports to understand the market environment and business dynamics and implement best practices. The team also collaborates closely with KKR’s Legal and Compliance team to ensure compliance and accurate reporting and performance of our corporate tax entities related to our investment funds. The Finance, Tax, and Accounting team also functions as a support for clients, from onboarding to investor communications and overall relationship management across all asset class, as well as responding to any ad-hoc tax-related requests.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY</strong></p> <p>This role is responsible for the review and oversight of Finance activity associated with deal specific Funds and SPVs across all asset classes (e.g. Private Equity, Infrastructure, Growth, Impact, Core, Climate, Credit etc.). The role will become a key member of the SPV Controllership leadership team.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong><br><strong>Co-Invest Reviews</strong><br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Responsible for key activities related to fund accounting and management of the funds from a controllership perspective – such as overseeing and reviewing fund accounting deliverables from external fund administrators including but not limited to: valuations, performance, management fee and carried interest calculations, investor capital balances and financial statements associated with the co-invest funds’ reporting close periods.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Ensure robust automated reconciliations within centralized system tools which aids controllers in their reviews of TPA output. &nbsp;<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Assist with review of internal reporting of funds' asset and revenue figures including reviewing reports to facilitate the funds’ consolidation requirements and SOX requirements, as applicable.&nbsp;<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Manage the funds’ annual and quarterly reporting/filing requirements to key external stakeholders such as investors and compliance/regulatory bodies based on governing documents and other statutory requirements. This includes review of quarterly unaudited reporting and annual audited financial statements along with investor capital statements.&nbsp;<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Keep abreast of all major accounting, regulatory and reporting changes that affect the funds.&nbsp;<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Assist with resolution of escalated investor-related queries and other ad-hoc reporting templates.</p> <p><strong>Distributions Coordination &amp; Oversight</strong><br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Review and challenge distribution calculations and distribution lead sheets, ensuring consistency across the structure and alignment between Finance, Tax, and Accounting.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Help operationalize new policies and workflows to optimize the distribution close process from a finance perspective.&nbsp;<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Liaise with KKR Deal Teams as required to support financial control matters relating to deal SPVs and aggregator entities</p> <p><strong>Internal &amp; External Oversight</strong><br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Ensure standardization and oversight of Gurugram team deliverables within a consistent framework and control environment agnostic of third-party administrator or asset class.&nbsp;<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Provide oversight on fund administrator’s work mandate, SLAs, performance metrics, schedules, etc.</p> <p><strong>Projects</strong><br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Work with wider Finance Teams to ensure appropriate accounting, reporting, operational and internal controls across the organization. Identify process improvement opportunities and help provide solutions and implementations to maximize efficiency.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Support the team’s key strategic initiatives and other ongoing firmwide transformation efforts such as technology and process re-engineering projects.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Partner with Tax, Legal, and Treasury teams to support streamlining entity-related processes, including distributions, audits, compliance requirements, and cash movements</p> <p><strong>PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS</strong><br>The successful candidate will have at least 12+ years of relevant financial experience within fund accounting, with at least 3 years in a management role (Controller, Senior Manager, VP, etc).
