These entities offer various banking products, including but not restricted to Financial Markets, Transaction Banking and Corporate and Institutional Lending.</li> <li>Use advanced excel skills to perform efficient finance processes in collaboration with offshore and onshore teams. This can include work on manual payments reconciliations, invoice processing, travel and expense claim bookings and preparation of journal entries</li> <li>Support in the intercompany processes including reconciliations, booking receipts, clearing FX differences</li> <li>Support in Balance Sheet substantiation process including tracking open transactions, reconciling with supporting evidence, preparing submissions</li> <li>Pre-payment schedules preparation and work on reconciling accruals</li> <li>Support the tax team with financial data input and monthly reconciliation of tax and VAT accounting</li> <li>Continuous contribution towards process improvements through:</li> <li>Challenging current practices and procedures and identifying opportunities for efficiencies</li> <li>Identification of weaknesses in current processes and developing and implementing effective solutions</li> <li>Identifying opportunities for automating processes</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Skills and Experience</b></H2> </div><div><p> </p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools</li> <li>Knowledge of and ability to utilize processes, methods, and tools for maintaining accurate and thorough records of financial transactions</li> <li>Knowledge of the generally accepted accounting principles and the ability to apply them appropriately within the organization</li> <li>Studying for Bachelors or Master’s degree in accounting or finance related field, including studying HGB and IFRS</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>About Standard Chartered</b></H2> </div><div><p> </p> <p>We're an international bank, nimble enough to act, big enough for impact.
