Why this role matters

If you’re early in your finance career and ready to take the next step, this role offers the perfect platform to grow. As a Finance Reporting Analyst in Synthomer’s Adhesive Solutions Division, you’ll help deliver the financial insight that supports our commercial, product, R&D, operations and supply chain teams.

Your work will ensure colleagues across the division have accurate data, clear reporting and meaningful analysis to make confident, informed decisions. It’s a role with real impact—and an excellent fit for someone building toward a professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll gain hands‑on experience across a broad range of reporting and analytical activities, including:

  • Preparing monthly management reports and supporting materials

  • Compiling, analysing and sharing KPIs that guide business performance

  • Building and maintaining financial models to support strategic decisions

  • Working with teams across the division to ensure accurate master data

  • Delivering monthly reporting packs for leadership

  • Producing regular reports and insightful ad‑hoc analysis

  • Supporting cost‑improvement and continuous‑improvement initiatives

  • Collaborating with accounting teams to ensure smooth, compliant processes

This role suits someone who enjoys variety, values accuracy, and wants to become the go‑to person for reliable financial insight.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation in finance and the ambition to keep developing. You’ll thrive here if you have:

  • Around 2 years’ experience in a finance role, ideally with exposure to reporting or analysis

  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data

  • Clear, effective communication and the ability to work well with different teams

  • A good understanding of core financial principles

  • A proactive, detail‑focused approach

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (helpful but not essential)

  • A strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn

  • Actively studying or planning to study ACCA or CIMA, as this aligns well with the role’s responsibilities

Where you’ll work

You’ll be based at our London Head Office, working 4 days per week onsite as part of our hybrid working approach. This gives you the best of both worlds: collaboration and connection with the team, plus flexibility when you need it.
