Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a InP - Finance Shared Services Analyst Supervisor to join our ever-evolving Segment Accounting Team and help us unleash the potential of every business.

What you’ll own

  • This position will have an active role in closing the business P&L, preparing Balance Sheet reconciliations, P&L Trend Analysis, quarterly analytics and working with audit team.

  • Additionally, it would require working with the business directly and closely on revenue and expense recognition. Also, coordinate with various business and corporate teams on issues directly associated with products groups.

What you bring

Knowledge / Experience

  • Review and approval of Group level monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations, ensure preparation is in strict adherence to policies and procedures, all open items are accurately/timely identified and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Approval of journal entries in accordance with US GAAP and Company Financial Policy
  • Strong Analytical skills - Monthly P/L and B/S Trend Analysis to identify accruals/ wrong coding/unusual postings/etc. and work closely with respective stakeholders to resolve before books close
  • To work closely with Group controllers, Sub-ledgers, tax teams, any other stake holders located globally
  • Drive Review and other Month end call with Business stakeholders and Controllers
  • Guide and mentor team members, day to day process and BAU reviews, address queries
  • Create and Drive culture of strong Review mechanisms, monitoring and tracking mechanisms, Process controls
  • Ability to plan and deliver work as per the set timelines, drive and Impart technical and process knowledge to teams
  • Assist with SOX, external and internal audits providing supporting/addressing queries/general ledger information as requested
  • Support Monthly/quarterly/Annual analytics preparations and Reviews
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationship and drive changes/initiatives so as to align to Business needs
  • Assist Manager with special projects as assigned

 Skills

  • Good knowledge of Revenue & Cost Accounting
  • Experience of Leading and mentoring a finance and accounting team of 3-5 members
  • Set performance goals and monitor productivity
  • Process Improvement / Change Management & improving efficiency across finance operations
  • Ability to understand and resolve problems with minimum assistance
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
  • Reporting and analysis skills
  • MS Excel Proficient
  • Develop team capabilities through training and coaching & foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Semi Qualified professionals - CA Inter / CMA Inter
  • Master’s degree in finance or accounting, MBA/Master’s is a plus
  • 7-10 years of knowledge in Revenue / Cost Accounting and GL Accounting is must
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Extremely well-organized – does not lose track of details or need reminding
  • Strong process orientation - manages time well to always meet schedules and deadlines
  • Excellent analytical & problem solving skills – learns from experiences
  • Confident and Self Driven
