This position plays an important role in maximizing the performance and value of our multifamily residential portfolio through financial analysis, forecasting, data interpretation, and cross-functional collaboration. The Financial Analyst will provide insights that support investment decisions, portfolio strategy, and operational improvements.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical and detail-oriented professional who is interested in real estate, enjoys working with financial data, and is motivated to help improve processes and portfolio performance.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em><span class="___xxxjie0 f1w7gpdv f1gqqdtu" data-wra="1">This position is primarily onsite, with the potential for a hybrid work schedule based on business needs.</span></em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Monitor and evaluate the financial performance of multifamily assets, including occupancy, rental income, operating expenses, and capital expenditures.</li> <li>Develop, update, and maintain detailed financial models and forecasts.</li> <li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal stakeholders and investors.</li> <li>Support the property budgeting process, including reviewing and updating budget templates, preparing individual property and corporate expense budgets, reviewing submitted budgets, and developing budget summaries.</li> <li>Assist with business plans, due diligence, financial analysis, stabilization budgets, and cash flow forecasts for existing assets and potential acquisitions.</li> <li>Lead the Asset Management department’s implementation and use of AI to improve departmental processes and functions.</li> <li>Participate in strategy discussions related to leasing, renovations, refinancing, and property dispositions.</li> <li>Support senior leadership with portfolio strategy, valuations, and investor presentations. &nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You’ll Bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.</li> <li>Two to four years of experience in real estate asset management, investment analysis, or a related field.</li> <li>Multifamily real estate experience is preferred.</li> <li>Strong proficiency in Excel, AI tools, financial modeling, and real estate software such as Yardi, MRI, or a comparable platform.</li> <li>Microsoft Office Specialist or Excel Expert certification is preferred.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.</li> <li>Clear and effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to present financial information and recommendations to stakeholders.</li> <li>Self-motivated, professional, and able to succeed in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation and Benefits</strong></p> <ul> <li>$73k-$78k DOE</li> <li>Company profit sharing</li> <li>Accrues 10 days Paid time off per year</li> <li>10 Paid Holidays and 2 Paid Personal Days per year</li> <li>40<strong> </strong>Hours of Paid Sick Time</li> <li>401K with employer match</li> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision, Employee Assistance Program</li> <li>Life Insurance</li> <li>Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Spending Account</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">California pay range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$73,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$78,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>MG Properties is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
