Title: Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A
Location: Chicago, Illinois
Reports to: Manager, Corporate FP&A
Job Description:
The Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A, will play a key role in supporting enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis. This position partners closely with Corporate FP&A leadership, business unit finance teams, and senior management to deliver actionable financial insights, improve reporting capabilities, and support critical planning processes. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about leveraging data to drive business performance and decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis
Support the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning processes.
Partner with business unit finance teams to consolidate, analyze, and report financial results and forecasts.
Evaluate financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
Develop and maintain recurring management reporting packages and KPI dashboards for senior leadership.
Support the preparation of Board of Directors and executive presentation materials.
Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and strategic projects to support business decision-making.
Business Partnership
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business performance and support strategic initiatives.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to help drive operational and financial performance improvements.
Support special projects and strategic initiatives across the business.
Treasury Support
Assist with daily cash reporting and liquidity analysis.
Support weekly cash forecasting and working capital analysis.
Partner with Treasury and Finance leadership to monitor cash flow trends and funding requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics or Accounting degree required
0 to 2 years related industry operational finance experience
Technologically capable; excel power user, power point
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence change across segments
Energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with ethical standards
Compensation:
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Pregis’ total compensation package. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $64,000 to $77,000, depending on experience and skills.
