About the role
We are seeking a Financial Analyst – Events to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. In this role, you will support Finance Business Partnering across Tennis Australia, working closely with both the broader finance team and key stakeholders.
You will play a key role in driving efficiency and profitability by delivering insightful financial analysis and meaningful commentary on business performance. By translating financial results into clear, actionable insights, you will help inform decision-making and identify opportunities to enhance performance across our events portfolio.
In this role you will:
- Lead with the review and completeness of month end accruals, engaging with various stakeholders across the business
- Support with monthly reporting to business operation stakeholders
- Assist with the preparation of the organisation’s budget including preparation, consolidation, and review
- Assist with the management of the forecast model, ensuring timely updating of variations expected by the business operations
- Support the Finance Business Partners and Business Operations to ensure the accurate and timely processing of purchase orders and supplier payments
- Lead in the streamlining of business processes and procedures, supporting operational effectiveness
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
- Proven experience from a complex organisation, professional services or otherwise is preferred
- Financial modelling and excel skills with strong experience utilising systems and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and successful implementation
- Appropriate qualifications including a degree and be a Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
