Collaborate within a high performing team learn to maintain complex financial models that accurately project and reflect business performance. Reconcile accounts, conduct financial analysis, prepare financial reports, and summarize projections and trends.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data mine, gather, analyze, and summarize financial, sales, and operational data. Organize data to identify trends as well as cause and effect correlation.
- Run and download reports. Prepare financial sales and operations scheduled variance analysis. Conduct additional analysis as requested.
- Maintains financial forecast models Responsible for data quality, validation, and cleanup. Develops a variety of documents, templates, and job aids. Identifies data trends, projects financial impact, and summarizes data and conclusions. May draft power point presentations for upper management review.
- Learning to apply formal education to business environment complying with regulations and policies. Works under general guidance; work may be peer reviewed for accuracy, quality, and education; escalates issues to manager for assistance and guidance. Exhibits accountability for behaviors. Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Takes the initiative to discuss assignments, expectations, priorities and deadlines as well as seek guidance and coaching from manager. Notifies manager when workload is light and volunteers for additional work. Adjusts effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements or cultures.
MINIMUM Requirements
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field
Experience
- Bookkeeping, Accounting, or Financial intern work preferred
- Demonstrate knowledge and application of regulations
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Cognitive Ability including reason, plan, identify problems, think abstractly, comprehend complex ideas, learn quickly, learn from experience, and appropriately apply learning to new situations.
- Process and results oriented, motivated to keep projects moving ahead by removing obstacles and exploring alternatives
- Applies best practices in documenting business requirements in an iterative way, particularly using agile methodologies
- Ability to create clear reports and data visualizations to assist others in decision-making and problem analysis
- Conversant in technical discipline acumen
- Must have a positive attitude, a drive to continually advance your understanding of the industry and business, and is highly self-motivated
- Ability to build professional and trusting business relations
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient MS Office Suite skills, with advanced application of Excel
