About the Role

We're looking for a Financial Analyst, Product Management to join our team! The Product Finance Analyst is a key financial partner to the Product Marketing team and all business divisions, translating product cost data and financial performance into clear insights that drive smarter business decisions.  This role leverages modern tools – including Power BI, PLM, and AI – to deliver timely, accurate analysis that supports pricing strategy, margin management, and long-term product planning.

This is a hybrid position located in Glen Allen, Va, and will report to the Business Operations Manager, Marketing.

What You’ll Do

  • Build, maintain, and distribute financial dashboards and reports using Power BI; translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders across all business divisions.

  • Maintain accurate product cost data and related financial information in PLM; utilize legacy systems (AS400, Epicor) as needed to support continuity and cross-reference historical data.

  • Support all business divisions with recurring and ad hoc financial analysis, including margin analysis, pricing support, and performance tracking.

  • Support Finance in coordinating Plan, STF, and LRFF data as well as expense reporting.

  • Leverage AI tools to enhance financial analysis, identify trends, automate recurring tasks, and improve reporting efficiency.

  • Support the development and maintenance of customer pricing for direct import and direct ship business in collaboration with Sales and Commercial Business Development.

  • Maintain product and item data integrity, including item lookup tables and base price list updates, to ensure accurate information is available for Marketing, Sales, and customer quote generation.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales on pricing strategies and support the preparation of tailored pricing proposals as needed.

  • Respond to and resolve ad hoc data and system support requests from internal stakeholders; partner to IT to troubleshoot technical issues as needed.

  • Support bi-monthly data submissions to the Government Statistics Bureau.

  • Support PLM post-launch optimization, including refining workflows, identifying data quality issues, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts following go live.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field required.

  • 1-3 years of relevant finance or financial analysis experience preferred; recent graduates with strong internship experience are encouraged to apply.

  • Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding  of concepts relevant to a hard goods sourcing organization, including product costs, margins, and pricing.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting required.

  • Experience leveraging AI tools for financial analysis strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with PLM, ERP, or business intelligence systems is a plus; training on legacy systems will be provided.
