If you're driven by the passion to change lives, this is the place for you.</p><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:22.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><p>This position supports the Regulatory Planning and Accounting function within WEC Energy Group, with an emphasis on the Very Large Customer (VLC) Tariff and Bespoke Asset accounting.</p> <p> </p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Accounting and Analysis</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Understand allocation of costs to VLC customers</li> <li>Calculate income statement costs to be recovered under VLC Tariff</li> <li>Analyze actuals vs forecast variances for VLC customers</li> <li>Assist in system design and implementation to track Bespoke Assets and calculate VLC Tariff </li> <li>Design processes to complete actuals, forecast, and budgeting of VLC Tariff and Bespoke assets</li> <li>Work with various groups including Property Accounting, Revenue, Tax, FP&amp;A, and other groups outside Finance</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span><strong>Rate Case Support</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Assist in preparation, communication, and tracking of rate case schedule with cross departmental team</li> <li>Assist Business Unit finance in rate case schedule, testimony and data request preparation</li> <li>Prepare responses to rate case data requests</li> <li>Track and model proposed adjustments from Commission Staff and Rate Case Intervenors</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span><strong>General Job Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Other analysis and/or tasks as assigned.</li> <li>Position will be expected to apply knowledge of interrelationships in processes and utilize problem solving skills to recommend process improvements.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>This position is part of a job family (Associate Analyst, Analyst, Sr Analyst) where experience will be the determining factor. </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:22.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Minimum Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><p> </p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree required. Accepted majors: Finance, Accounting or Economics or closely related</li> <li>Associate Analyst is an entry level role and internship experience is preferred</li> <li>Analyst requires 18 months of relevant experience </li> <li>Ability to maintain, run and analyze reports from various ERP systems and reporting tools</li> <li>Understand aspects of accounting theory and financial statement classification</li> <li>Document advanced processes and procedures in ways easily understood and followed by others</li> <li>Strong presence with the ability to interact with Finance Leadership</li> <li>Compile and present various financial reports to manager and director level management</li> <li>Understand specific aspects of accounting theory and financial statement classification related to assigned areas of responsibility</li> <li>Demonstrate ability to understand and execute moderately complex financial controls </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:22.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><p> </p> <ul> <li>2 Year’s Experience in Accounting or Finance</li> <li>Ability to learn and grasp new concepts quickly</li> <li>Comfortable providing analysis and presenting to various members of Management</li> <li>Ability to work well independently and as a member of a multi-locational team</li> <li>Attention to detail, a strong initiative, and a results-orientation are critical</li> <li>Experience with Microsoft Excel is essential</li> <li>UI Planner Experience is a plus</li> <li>SAP Experience is a plus</li> </ul></div></div></div><p><strong>End Date:</strong> 07/29/2026 </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Pay Range Minimum</strong>:  $59,510.36 </p> <p><strong>Pay Range Maximum</strong>:  $118,053.26 </p> <p> </p> <p>The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future.
