PS Job Title: Financial Analyst Work Place Flexibility: Hybrid Legal Entity: Entergy Services, LLC *This position may be filled as a Financial Analyst I, II, III or Lead depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience.** JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul> <li>Develop, monitor, and refine forecasting models for monthly electricity sales (kWh) and hourly electric load (MW)</li> <li>Develop, monitor, and refine forecasting models for monthly natural gas sales</li> <li>Understand factors affecting how electricity consumption could change over time and develop ways to include potential effects in forecast scenarios</li> <li>Develop analysis and deliver reports and presentations to assist with the understanding of the consumption forecasts, economic conditions, and other items</li> <li>Design and implement process improvements to enhance forecast accuracy</li> <li>Perform ad hoc analysis, summary analysis, trend analysis, and statistical analysis and communicate results as needed</li> <li>Support regulatory requirements of RFIs and other external data requests on an ad hoc basis, as well as responding to internal requests for information in an efficient and timely manner</li> <li>Participate in regular safety meetings and work in a safety-conscious manner</li> </ul> MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Minimum education required of the position <ul> <li>BS/BA in a technical field such as Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics or have equivalent work experience.</li> </ul> Minimum experience required of the position <ul> <li>Anaylst I: 0-2 years professional experience.</li> <li>Anaylst II: 2-4 years professional experience.</li> <li>Analyst III: 4-6 years professional experience.</li> <li>Analyst Lead: 6+ years professional experience.</li> </ul> Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position The ideal candidate will have solid analytical skills, be forward-thinking and creative, will be a self-starter, and will exhibit a commitment to the quality of his/her work.
