Job Description

Grow your career with a global retailer as an Analyst within our Financial Accounting team at ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury. This is a full-time permanent position.

As part of our Financial Accounting team, you will be part of a high performing and results driven team with a focus on process, diligence, and accuracy. A key aspect of this role will see you analysing inventory data and financial transactions to provide insights for continuous improvement.

What does the role look like? 

  • Analyse and resolve variances or irregularities across transactional data to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies.  
  • Troubleshoot and investigate discrepancies by liaising with various stakeholders to reach solutions in a timely manner.
  • Perform month end accounting activities including clearing adjustments and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement enhancements to strengthen accuracy and control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams around executing new financial processes.
  • Prepare financial and ad hoc reporting and analyses.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in in business, accounting or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience using SAP to accurately process, maintain, and manage data, with a high level of attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to liaise work with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Proven ability to adapt to new technologies and systems, with a curious mindset and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Experience with Inventory Costing (MAP) highly desirable.

Remuneration

  • Transparent tiered salary range of $143,400 - $163,500 including Superannuation.
