We're looking for an ambitious FP&A Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team at our Leeds Head Office. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys turning data into insight and helping stakeholders make informed business decisions.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and long-range planning processes.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support business decision-making.
- Analyse monthly financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key trends and variances.
- Produce insightful management reporting packs and financial commentary.
- Analyse revenue, costs, margins and KPI performance.
- Work collaboratively with Financial Control and Commercial Finance teams to deliver meaningful business insights.
- Investigate performance drivers and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct detailed analysis around customer profitability, pricing strategies, product mix and operational efficiency.
- Support business planning through scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis and ROI assessments.
- Champion reporting automation and data transformation initiatives using Power BI and FP&A systems.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic commercial decisions and business growth.
You'll ideally have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years' experience within FP&A, Commercial Finance or Business Analysis.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- A strong understanding of forecasting, margin analysis and commercial performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively across multiple business functions.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
