About the Department:
Apera’s Fund Operations & Finance team manages fund accounting, reporting, and liquidity for direct lending investments. The team partners closely with London-based finance and operations colleagues. It operates in a lean, collaborative environment focused on accuracy, ownership, and continuous improvement, offering exposure to complex credit structures and global fund operations.
Core Responsibilities:
You will prepare and review quarterly NAV for Luxembourg-based funds.
You will review cash, positions, and investment activity data.
You will calculate management fees and review invoices.
You will maintain loan notes and PECs register.
You will reconcile FX mark-to-market positions.
You will review financial statements across GAAP frameworks.
You will analyze NAV movements and provide commentary.
Strategic Responsibilities:
You will prepare FX hedging packs and reconciliations.
You will analyze hedge positions and recommend actions.
You will monitor liquidity from FX movements.
You will manage hedge roll calculations and trade execution.
You will review leverage and borrowing base calculations.
You will prepare leverage reporting and interest schedules.
Team & Collaboration:
You will act as a key contact for London teams.
You will support audits, reporting, and process improvements.
Experience, Education & Certifications:
4–6 years in fund accounting or controllership.
Experience in NAV, investor reporting, and financial statements.
Background in credit or alternative asset management.
Professional accounting qualification or in progress.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of FX hedging and forwards.
Knowledge of leveraged credit instruments.
Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reconciliation.
Experience with WSO or similar systems preferred.
Soft Skills:
Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently.
Strong analytical and attention-to-detail mindset.
Clear communication with global stakeholders.
Work-Shift Timings - 2:00 PM IST - 11:00 PM IST
