The position focuses on Supplier Delivery, Quality and Inventory Performance improvements. It is a position to build relationships with the Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing and Operations organizations to become an invested team member to meet our customers’ needs. </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What your background should look like</b></H2> </div><div><p>Motivated individual with the ability to learn quickly and work in a self-directed work environment </p> <p>Ability to take ownership of actions and lead to closure. Strong project management skills. </p> <p>A clear communicator who can speak and present confidently to a diverse audience, including senior management </p> <p>Technically competent to interface with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Materials, Supply / Demand Management as well as all levels within the Supplier’s organization </p> <p>Fluent in English; reading, writing, and speaking English language </p> <p>Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university in Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, or other related disciplines. </p> <p>Proficient with MS-Office and SAP products. </p> <p>Experience with Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Supply Chain fields </p> <p>Practical Problem Solving, 8D, 5 why, Fishbone experience </p> <p>Certified Supply Chain Professional (APICS) is a plus </p> <p>Certified AS9100 Auditor or similar Quality Management System Understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) is a plus </p> <p>Willingness to travel and interact proactively with TE manufacturing site personnel and suppliers (up to 50%) </p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Responsibilities </strong></span></p> <p>As Supplier Excellence Analyst / Supplier Development Analyst your responsibilities would include but are not limited to the following: </p> <p>Responsible for assessing supplier capabilities to ensure supplier is able to reach the level of performance, capability and capacity required to meet our business needs </p> <p>Collaborating closely with key suppliers to achieve the following supplier results: </p> <p>Process control and Quality system improvement </p> <p>Delivery performance and Lead time improvement </p> <p>Supply Chain effectiveness improvement and optimization </p> <p>Capacity increases </p> <p>Will also work with the assigned SQE to help identify and resolve any quality issues with targeted supplier </p> <p>This position will teach suppliers on how to work with TE TEOA Tools (Supplier Portal access, TE procedures, DPA &amp; DLT, Standard Tools, etc.) </p> <p>Coach new team members on how to work within TE guidelines (portal access, e-procurement tool usage, TE procedures, etc.) </p> <p>Work with Strategic Sourcing Specialists to manage supplier relationship within Monthly performance reviews and Quarterly business reviews </p> <p>Work as support for various TE manufacturing sites, focusing on how supplied material impacts the business unit strategy in term of availability and inventory </p> <p>Monitor and communicate key supplier performance metrics </p> <p> </p> <p> </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Competencies</b></H2> </div><div><div>Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork</div></div></div></div>
