This role partners with cross-functional teams to optimize supplier performance, negotiate strategic agreements, manage supplier risks, and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.</p> <p>The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with extensive procurement experience, strong negotiation skills, and deep knowledge of tooling-related manufacturing technologies such as molding, stamping, or die casting.</p> </div></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What your background should look like</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.</li> <li>10+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing, or Supply Chain roles.</li> <li>Minimum 5 years of experience working with complex tooling-related manufacturing technologies such as molding, stamping, die casting, or similar processes.</li> <li>Proven experience leading supplier negotiations and sourcing initiatives.</li> <li>Strong background in supplier selection, commodity management, and cost optimization programs.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.</li> <li>Strong negotiation and contract management skills.</li> <li>Comprehensive understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of tooling manufacturing processes and technologies.</li> <li>Familiarity with quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement methodologies.</li> <li>Experience with Six Sigma tools is highly desirable.</li> <li>Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.</li> <li>Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.</li> <li>Strong customer-focused approach.</li> </ul> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <h3>Strategic Supplier &amp; Commodity Management</h3> <ul> <li>Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned commodities and suppliers.</li> <li>Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering teams to drive supplier development and optimization initiatives.</li> <li>Define supplier strategies including growth, development, improvement, or exit plans.</li> <li>Lead supplier sourcing activities including RFQs, supplier evaluations, bidding processes, contract awards, and onboarding.</li> <li>Continuously optimize the supplier base to improve performance and competitiveness.</li> <li>Lead negotiations for pricing, contracts, minimum order quantities, payment terms, and lead times.</li> <li>Drive cost reduction and productivity improvement initiatives while ensuring supply continuity.</li> <li>Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and regular business reviews.</li> <li>Develop and implement improvement plans to address performance gaps.</li> <li>Manage supplier lead-time reduction initiatives and capacity planning activities.</li> <li>Develop sourcing strategies for tooling suppliers.</li> <li>Manage tooling databases, supplier capabilities, and tooling lifecycle activities.</li> <li>Drive tooling-related cost savings and risk mitigation initiatives.</li> <li>Support the resolution of tooling-related issues, including repairs, breakdowns, and performance concerns.</li> <li>Coordinate corrective actions with suppliers and internal stakeholders.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with sourcing policies, industry regulations, and customer requirements.</li> <li>Support supplier compliance with environmental, social, and governance standards, including RoHS and Conflict Minerals requirements.</li> <li>Maintain purchasing systems, supplier records, and sourcing documentation.</li> <li>Ensure data integrity and adherence to established procurement processes.</li> <li>Conduct market analysis to identify new suppliers, technologies, and business opportunities.</li> <li>Develop strategic supplier partnerships and negotiate long-term agreements.</li> </ul> <p>ย </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Competencies</b></H2> </div><div><div>Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork</div></div></div></div>
