Newmont’s Service Enablement Group (SEG) is a new internal Newmont function that aims to improve processes and service delivery for the organization. It is comprised of two parts: A Process Excellence team and a future-state service delivery model who design will be informed by the work of the Process Excellence team.
In this role, you will support the employee lifecycle by ensuring accurate processing of people data and delivering high-quality HR services aligned with Newmont’s service standards and regulatory requirements. Your work helps maintain reliable employee records, supports employees across multiple countries, and contributes to continuous improvement within our People Services function.
- Administer employee data across the HR lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, leave and absence management, and return-to-work processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry and maintenance across systems and countries.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to data quality or entry errors.
- Respond to employee inquiries or escalate complex requests when necessary.
- Support process improvements and identify opportunities to enhance service delivery.
- Execute updates to processes, standards, or tools used within People Services.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient and consistent HR service delivery.
- Post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience supporting HR operations or shared services environments.
- Knowledge of employee lifecycle processes and HR service delivery practices.
- Experience using SAP HR systems, including SuccessFactors and/or Fieldglass.
- Ability to maintain data accuracy and address data compliance issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve employee queries effectively.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
