The role
Role Overview
The Employee Life Cycle Analyst is the frontline of HR operations — ensuring that every employee transaction, from promotions and compensation updates to letters and exits, is processed with accuracy, timeliness, and care.
This role is not just about administration. As an Analyst, you’ll work in a digital-first environment (Workday, ServiceNow, chatbots) where self-service, automation, and simplification are the norm. You’ll play a key role in ensuring employee data integrity, supporting compliance, and contributing ideas to improve processes.
It’s a launchpad role into the world of global P&C operations — giving you broad exposure across the hire-to-retire landscape and preparing you for a career as a future Employee Life Cycle Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Life Cycle Transactions
- Process transactions across promotions, compensation changes, job transfers, data updates, letters, and exits.
- Ensure employee records are accurate and up to date in Workday and ServiceNow.
- Prepare checklists, validations, and reconciliations to ensure zero errors.
Employee Experience
- Respond to employee and manager queries with clarity, accuracy, and empathy.
- Direct employees toward self-service tools and knowledge resources.
- Ensure every interaction reflects trust and care.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain employee records and documentation in line with company policies and local regulations.
- Support statutory and internal audits by ensuring data is complete and accurate.
- Keep SOPs, FAQs, and process documentation current.
Digital-First & Continuous Improvement
- Learn and adopt Workday, ServiceNow, and chatbot workflows for life cycle processes.
- Highlight recurring issues or process gaps and suggest improvements.
- Support automation and simplification initiatives within the team.
Collaboration & Learning
- Partner with Tier 2 Specialists to learn complex case handling.
- Participate in training sessions and knowledge-sharing forums.
- Build foundational knowledge across the breadth of employee life cycle processes.
What we need to see from you
- 2–4 years of experience in HR operations, employee life cycle management, or shared services (internship/project experience also considered).
- Familiarity with HR systems (Workday, ServiceNow) is an advantage.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Clear communication skills with a service-oriented mindset.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a digital-first HR environment.
