Global Technical Regulations Analyst
Job Description
Tasks
Responsible to:
- Design and continuously improve the R&D process framework aligned with CT interfaces and tCMS requirements for Raw Materials and Product Platforms
- Harmonize R&D and CT-related processes using lean principles, simplifying tools, workflows and regulatory landscapes Raw Materials and Product Platforms
- Define and manage interfaces between R&D, CT, BA departments, TRC, TRM and TRE networks.
- Enable identification, analysis and allocation of external standards and legal technical regulations within Group-Sector tools.
- Assign and coordinate Technical Regulation Analysts (TRAs) to ensure effective requirement management.
- Assess applicability and impact of external standards and legal technical regulations on products and technologies.
- Maintain high-quality regulatory data by enriching objects with BA-specific information and clear interpretations.
- Coordinate regulatory clarification needs with TRC/TRE and legal counsel when required.
- Support regulatory change management by maintaining changelogs and communicating impacts to projects and product responsibles.
- Act as key contact for R&D projects on technical compliance (tC) topics, especially during new product development.
- Actively collaborate within cross-BA Technical Regulation networks to ensure alignment and best practice sharing.
Ensure
- Effective implementation of CT and tCMS processes within R&D SSL
- Clear, usable and consistently applied R&D processes across all BA segments.
- Compliance with applicable external standards, legal technical regulations and internal quality guidelines.
- Lean and efficient processes with minimal work instructions, enabling focus on strategic R&D objectives.
- Timely, transparent and reliable regulatory information to prevent delays, rework and escalations.
- Continuous identification of improvement opportunities and delivery of pragmatic process solutions.
Qualifications
**Required Education and Experience:**
- Bachelor's diploma in Chemistry.
- Previous profesional experience in technical regulations, standards management, compliance, or closely related functions are highly appreciated. ( including interns experience )
- Previous working experience in R&D or Application Engineering, preferably within the chemical or materials sector
- Proven experience in external standards and legal technical regulations
- Related experience in database management and large-scale data handling, including Requirement Engineering Tools
- Advanced level in English; additional languages are advantageous.

- Demonstrated leadership potential through academic projects and collaborative team assignments.
- Foundational knowledge of business process mapping and process improvement methodologies gained through coursework and practical projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate technical challenges and support data-driven decision-making.
