Head of HR Technology, Analytics & AI
The Head of HR Technology, Analytics & AI will shape the future of HR technology, people analytics, and AI-enabled HR capabilities at IDEXX. This leader will establish the strategy, roadmap, and operating approach for an evolving portfolio of HR products, platforms, data, and tools. Working across HR and the broader organization, this leader will connect technology investments to practical outcomes that improve the employee experience, strengthen workforce decision-making, and support scalable HR operations.

The leader will balance forward-looking strategy with hands-on leadership, remaining close enough to the work to challenge assumptions, remove barriers, and help teams turn priorities into sustainable results.
In This Role:
- Define and execute the HR technology and people analytics strategy, translating IDEXXâs people and business priorities into a clear roadmap and operational plan.
- Shape the future-state vision for HR products, platforms, data, analytics, and AI capabilities, with an emphasis on connected experiences, scalability, and measurable business value.
- Guide the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of solutions that simplify HR processes, improve employee and manager experiences, and support more informed workforce decisions.
- Establish effective governance and prioritization practices for the HR technology and analytics portfolio, balancing immediate business needs with longer-term modernization.
- Strengthen people data, reporting, and analytics capabilities so HR and business leaders have access to meaningful insights that support organizational and workforce decisions.
- Evaluate practical opportunities to apply AI, automation, and emerging technologies across HR, using thoughtful experimentation to assess value, adoption, and organizational readiness.
- Work across Business HR, technology teams, and other key stakeholders to align priorities, clarify requirements, and deliver integrated solutions.
- Lead organizational change and adoption efforts associated with new capabilities, processes, and ways of working, ensuring solutions are understood and effectively used.
- Provide functional leadership to the HR Technology and People Analytics team, building capabilities, developing talent, and fostering accountability, curiosity, and continuous learning.
- Measure the effectiveness of HR technology and analytics solutions, using business feedback, external developments, and performance indicators to guide ongoing improvement.

What You Need to Succeed
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise technology, digital, analytics, or platform modernization within a complex organization.
- Ability to establish a future-state vision and translate it into practical roadmaps, priorities, operating plans, and measurable outcomes.
- Experience leading technical or technology-oriented teams through growth, change, or the development of new capabilities.
- A record of delivering complex enterprise initiatives that span multiple functions, stakeholders, and areas of expertise.
- Strong business and technology judgment, with the ability to evaluate opportunities, challenge assumptions, and balance innovation with effective execution.
- Ability to influence senior leaders, build alignment across a matrixed organization, and communicate complex technology and data topics in clear business terms.
- Experience working with data and analytics strategies and translating insights into practical organizational or workforce decisions.
- A product or platform mindset, with an understanding of user needs, prioritization, adoption, continuous improvement, and value realization.
- A player-coach leadership style that combines strategic direction with the willingness and ability to stay close to important work.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with HR technology, human capital management platforms, people analytics, or digitally enabled HR services.
- Exposure to AI, automation, or emerging technologies and their responsible application within an enterprise environment.
- Experience building or evolving technology governance, operating models, or portfolio management practices.
- Background supporting technology or analytics capabilities across a large, global, or highly matrixed organization.
- Experience leading change management and adoption for new tools, platforms, processes, or ways of working.
