Who We Are Looking ForÂ
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Intelligence Analyst to join our Embedded Intelligence Services (EIS) team in Cape Town, South Africa. This is an in-office, 24/7 shift-based role supporting a global client through proactive intelligence monitoring, incident response, and risk management. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker with strong analytical, research, and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment. You have experience producing actionable intelligence, responding to evolving global events, and delivering clear, concise assessments to stakeholders. You are comfortable working independently, collaborating across teams, and adapting to changing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
What You Will Work OnÂ
As an Embedded Intelligence Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the client's Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) and global security program. Your responsibilities will include:
Monitor global events, emerging risks, and security incidents to identify potential impacts on the client's people, operations, and assets
Recognize and respond to crisis situations by taking appropriate action in accordance with established standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Monitor and assess travel to high-risk destinations, providing timely support and guidance to travelers
Conduct employee and traveler welfare check-ins during incidents and emerging events
Research, analyze, and produce concise written intelligence reports, threat assessments, and briefings using Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT)
Deliver written and verbal intelligence briefings to client stakeholders and leadership
Triage and respond to client requests, ensuring timely delivery of intelligence products and security support
Develop a strong understanding of the client's global footprint to anticipate operational risks and intelligence requirements
Support the continuous improvement of client processes, security protocols, and program documentation
Maintain program metrics, prepare regular reports, and contribute to ongoing program performance analysis
Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and leverage Crisis24 resources to enhance intelligence products and client solutions
Build and maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders and internal teams
Participate in shift work, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays, as required by a 24/7 operational environment
Travel to client locations as required
Who You Will Work WithÂ
In this role, you will work closely with the Embedded Intelligence Services (EIS) Intelligence Manager and fellow intelligence analysts supporting the client's Global Security Operations Center.
You will collaborate with:
Client security teams and business leaders
Internal intelligence analysts and subject matter experts
Global security operations personnel
Cross-functional teams supporting intelligence, crisis management, and risk mitigation initiatives
Success in this role requires strong collaboration, effective communication, and the ability to build trusted relationships across both internal teams and client organizations.
What You Will BringÂ
Required QualificationsÂ
Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies, or a related field
2â5 years of experience in intelligence analysis, threat assessment, incident response, security operations, or a related field
Experience conducting research and producing intelligence assessments using Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT)
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise intelligence reports
Strong verbal communication and briefing skills
Experience working in a fast-paced operational or security environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with Google Earth and Google Maps
Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues, subject matter experts, and client stakeholders
Familiarity with basic AI concepts, tools, and prompting techniques
Willingness to work a rotating 24/7 shift schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays
Ability to travel to client locations as required
Ability to successfully complete background, writing, and technology aptitude screenings
Preferred QualificationsÂ
Master's degree or equivalent professional experience
Experience supporting a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC)
Knowledge of geopolitical, security, or operational risk analysis
Foreign language proficiency
International travel experience
Customer service experience
Experience supporting multinational organizations or global security programs
