The mission of Canada’s Children’s Hospital Foundations (CCHF)Ā is to fund the most urgent needs in children’s healthcare by uniting hospitals, donors, and partners across Canada. Established in 2017, CCHF is a non-profit organization that raises funds for a national network of children’s hospital foundations. Canada's Children's Hospital Foundations (CCHF) is seeking an Intern, Data & Analytics (8-Month Contract) who is eager to develop their skill set and assist the team.

The future of your career is heavily influenced by the skills and experiences you gain today. This is a unique development opportunity, joining a passionate team of individuals working collaboratively to create the next generation of impact to transform children's health in Canada.

As a vital enabler of the Data & Finance Team, you will support this team to transform data into disbursements and tax receipting to achieve our Mission. As a deadline-oriented function focused on quality and high customer service across the network, this will include:

  • Data structuring and data hygiene.
  • Data Quality Assurance.
  • Financial Performance Reporting.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Under the guidance of the Data and Finance Teams, the CCHF Intern will support a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Participate in data hygiene to facilitate mission critical disbursements and tax receipting to Member Foundations.
  • Collaborate in Quality Assurance process for accuracy and completeness on data files.
  • Complete the data hygiene process using the proprietary method.
  • Update and run Python scripts to facilitate the Quality Assurance process.
  • Participate in developing disbursement reports i.e. Member Foundation reporting, Master Raw data reporting.
  • Help in developing the Member specific tax receipting reports for Member Foundations.
  • Assist as required on projects and tasks assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will be:


  • Proficient in Data structuring and cleaning.

  • Familiar with the Data Quality Assurance framework.
  • Keen on attention to detail.
  • Proficient beyond basic usage in Microsoft Excel to encompass advanced features/functions (including logical, text, lookup in reference and information).
  • Advanced in their organizational skills proven through an ability to work under pressure, meet prescribed deadlines with a sense of urgency, and make the most effective use of available resources.

  • Demonstrating professionalism through use of their communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders

  • Possessing superior written and oral communication, including active listening

  • Able to work independently, creatively and proactively with minimal direction

DETAILS: Ā 

Pay Rate: 18-20$ an hour

Expectations: 40-hour work week. Internship length is 8-months.

Start Date: September 8, 2026

End Date: April 30, 2027

Transportation: This role will entail a combination of office and work from home environments, with this role expected to work 1-2 times per month at our Toronto office. The intern will be provided with a company-owned laptop during the co-op term. Interns must be residing in Ontario for the duration of their co-op placement.Ā
