We’re looking for an Inventory Analyst (Retail/Ecom./Manufacturing) to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team at our 2777 Kingsway office in Vancouver, BC. This role reports to the Inventory Manager. Job Overview: The Inventory Analyst is responsible for inventory accuracy and inventory control processes across the organization, with a focus on either manufacturing operations (raw materials, packaging, bulk materials, and finished goods) or Retail/Ecommerce operations (finished goods at retail stores and warehouses). The Inventory Analyst works closely with Production, QA, Warehouse, and Retail teams to investigate variances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions that ensure alignment between physical and system inventory. You will have the opportunity to: Inventory Operations & Auditing Review and adjust annual, monthly, and weekly cycle count strategies. Conduct inventory counts, including planning, execution, reconciliation of results, on-hand quantity adjustments, and root-cause analysis. Manage inventory adjustment and investigation requests, while actively identifying continuous improvement opportunities. Identify inventory discrepancies in business processes and partner with various operations teams to resolve issues. Assess inventory process knowledge in each functional area and address training gaps to reduce operational errors. Work with IT on system enhancements and fulfill various testing requirements for evolving business processes. Keep process-maps and SOPs current and audit internal process adherence. Inventory Analysis & Reporting Maintain and refine inventory accuracy dashboards, tracking key metrics across Production, Warehouse, Retail, and Ecommerce. Update and improve BI report models to reduce report generation time. Ensure data accuracy and compliance standards are maintained to support sound business decisions. Communicate inventory risks, opportunities, and recommendations proactively, with financial targets and budgets in mind. You’ll be a good fit if you have: Proven inventory experience (3+ years) in a retail or manufacturing environment. Experience using Excel, Power BI, ERP/POS/Ecommerce systems (Syteline/Square). Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable insight. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to source information, obtain approvals, build relationships, and influence others to achieve shared goals. A passion for improving operational accuracy and efficiency by reducing manual work and creating automation. Preference is given to those who have:  Professional supply chain certification (APICS, SCMP) Relevant education in Inventory, Operations or Business Management. Knowledge of SQF (Safe Quality Food) in food manufacturing /retail environment.
