Job Description

RRD is looking for a Inventory Analyst to join our team in Houston!

This is an onsite position M-F from 7am-4pm

Job Summary

The Inventory Analyst maintains inventory record integrity, analyzes stock performance, and ensures material availability to meet production and customer demand. Working closely with Operations, Production, Purchasing, and Finance, this role optimizes inventory levels, mitigates scrap, and reduces carrying costs. The position leverages ERP data and analytical tools to track key metrics and support continuous process improvements across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Data Integrity: Conduct daily cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliations across system records and physical stock to maintain targeted accuracy levels.
  • Investigate Discrepancies: Analyze inventory transactions to identify root causes of stock variances, scrap, write-offs, or damaged materials, implementing corrective actions to minimize financial loss.
  • Optimize Inventory Levels: Monitor stocking metrics—including days of inventory on hand (DOH), inventory turns, and slow-moving or obsolete stock—to balance material availability with operational cost targets.
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Generate routine inventory reports and dashboards using ERP systems to track KPIs such as cycle count accuracy, adjustment values, and work order completion rates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, business, accounting, finance or supply chain is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of inventory analysis experience within a manufacturing or warehouse environment is required.
  • Experience in ERP

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
