They should be able to concisely and accurately share knowledge with their teammates.</span></p></div><h3>ABOUT THE ROLE:</h3> <p>As an Inventory Specialist supporting SpaceXAI data center operations, you will be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, issuance, kitting, and control of high-value materials and equipment (servers, GPUs, networking gear, power and cooling components, spare parts, and other critical infrastructure). You will maintain inventory accuracy, support just-in-time material flow to construction and operations teams, and help ensure the site can scale rapidly while meeting safety and quality standards.</p> <h3>RESPONSIBILITIES:</h3> <ul> <li>Receive, store, and issue raw material, parts, details, and hardware to support data center construction, commissioning, and operations</li> <li>Store parts and materials in designated locations (bins, racks, VLMs, or staging areas), accurately identifying parts and locations</li> <li>Maintain strict material handling practices in accordance with procedures, especially for high-value or sensitive equipment</li> <li>Perform picking and kitting functions to assemble necessary kits of parts, material, and hardware; verify all items are available and accounted for</li> <li>Verify all material received for conformity with accompanying paperwork, checking for damage, correct part numbers, quantities, and revisions</li> <li>Issue material against approved paperwork, including affixing verification and maintaining lot/serial traceability as required</li> <li>Perform cycle counts and maintain high inventory accuracy</li> <li>Abide by all procedures, work instructions, and standard operating documents</li> <li>Manage schedule priorities and independently execute work to meet site deliverables</li> <li>Perform good housekeeping in inventory and staging areas</li> <li>Support material flow, including staging and just-in-time delivery to internal customers</li> </ul> <h3>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:</h3> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalency certificate</li> <li>1+ years of inventory control experience</li> </ul> <h3>PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:</h3> <ul> <li>3+ years of inventory control experience in a warehouse or distribution environment</li> <li>Experience and understanding of inventory, kitting, and material handling processes</li> <li>Experience operating a forklift and other inventory/material handling equipment</li> <li>Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel)</li> <li>Experience in aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, electronics, technology, or data center environments</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret drawings, procedures, and parts lists</li> <li>ERP/WMS system experience</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in logistics or supply chain management (preferred)</li> </ul> <h3>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</h3> <ul> <li>Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs. unassisted; frequent lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying required</li> <li>Must be available for one of the following 12.5-hour shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM</li> <li>Work schedule follows a rotating pattern of 4 days on / 3 days off, then 3 days on / 4 days off (and repeating)</li> <li>Must be open to working all required shift hours, including nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed to support 24/7 operations</li> <li>Comfortable working in warehouse/data center environments with varying temperatures and noise</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>SpaceXAI is an equal opportunity employer.
