Job Profile Summary:

The Investment Specialists department is responsible for writing and providing high quality client communication to the firm’s client base globally. This role will focus specifically on covering the Man Group’s Systematic product range, primarily focused on Man Numeric’s strategies. Man Numeric has a strong history in public equities, focusing on bottom-up systematic stock selection processes based on fundamental, causal market relationships and reinforced by continuous research.

The Investment Specialists department performs a wide range of duties, including handling client queries, writing fund marketing materials, responding to DDQs/ RFPs, and creating quarterly update materials. The role requires working closely with Systematic’s investment and Client Portfolio Management team (‘CPM’), Client Relations, Senior Sales personnel, and other subject matter experts across Man Group’s global offices. As such, this role offers the opportunity to play a vital role in all aspects and stages of the client experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Write, develop, and deliver the full range of Systematic-focused materials for internal and external clients (or stakeholders))
  • Partner with Sales, CPM, Portfolio Management, and key stakeholders across the business to write bespoke RFP/DDQ content and content of the highest quality. Ensure that the latest fund research, analysis, and messaging is incorporated.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day client inquiries, coordinating across internal teams to provide timely, accurate, and comprehensive responses.
  • Assist day-to-day contact with internal and external clients, facilitating their requirements and coordinating internal support where required.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with senior Sales, CPM, and key stakeholders across the firm.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance materials, improve processes, and deliver greater value to clients and the sales organization.) Identify opportunities and initiate projects where the Investment Specialists department can add value for Systematic’s clients, CPM team and Man Group’s sales force.

Key Skills & Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree required; Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • 0-3 years of professional experience in asset management, financial services, investment consulting, or related field, with demonstrated track record of producing high-quality written content.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to distill complex quantitative investment concepts into clear, accurate, and compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Superior attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize assignments based on a broad understanding of the business requirements.
  • Ability to develop strong-working relationships with stakeholders across the firm and embrace engaging with these individuals.
  • Excellent time management skills to succeed in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • Motivated team player who thrives in collaborative environments while also capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel); familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms and financial data platforms (Salesforce, FactSet, Morningstar, etc.) is a plus.

The anticipated based salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation packages would also include benefits and a discretionary bonus. This is the base salary range that the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting based on the location and requirements of the position as well as the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant.  The Firm reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.

$70,000$90,000 USD
