Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Transportation system used by the business. Primary Applications include:
- Blue Yonder – TMS
- SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA
- Assist with various TMS related projects to help support business enhancements
- Perform process testing for existing and new functionality in TMS systems. Document and report the results of testing to management and business leadership
- Collaborate with the Transportation help desk team to address issues related to TMS applications. Communicate to the business whether the problem is process-oriented or systemic. Seek improvement opportunities based on the solutions provided.
- Take responsibility for TMS-related security items in both SAP and BY TMS.
- Proactively review current state operations and identify areas of improvement.
- Novolex has a multi-regional distribution network. Several of these distribution locations operate 24x7. Must be willing to support those applications off hours as needed
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience with BY TMS or similar platform is preferred
- Experience integrating transportation systems and warehouse management systems with a backend ERP such as SAP.
- SAP experience is preferred but not required.
- At least five years of experience in a warehousing environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and effective manner
- Process improvement mindset that blends together the business requirements with the system capabilities.
- Have a solid understanding of all warehousing-related functions as well as other supply chain processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills, as well as an ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working on multiple projects with at times have competing deliverables that require prioritization and multitasking.
- Have the desire to take on challenging assignments to advance your career, which may include presenting to Senior Directors, Vice Presidents, and C-Suite executives.
- Ability to travel up to 25% a year
- Must have experience using MS Office tools
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Management, or related field with experience combination.
Compensation:
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,000 - 100,000 + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. At Novolex, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
