Position Overview

We are looking for a Mid-Level Business Intelligence Engineer (Tableau Developer) with strong experience in building functional, insightful, and user-friendly dashboards and reports. This role is critical in transforming complex data into actionable business insights through effective analysis and visualization.

The ideal candidate is an independent contributor who is also comfortable collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, asking the right questions, and challenging requirements when necessary to ensure high-quality deliverables.

While industry-specific experience is not mandatory, experience with contact center operations and analytics is considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Data Visualization & Reporting

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Transform complex datasets into clear and meaningful visualizations that support business decision-making.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting solutions.
• Apply visualization best practices to improve usability and user experience.

Data Analysis

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
• Deliver actionable recommendations based on data findings.
• Work with multiple data sources and databases to extract, process, and present information effectively.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and cross-functional teams to support data integration and reporting needs.
• Clearly communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactively ask critical questions, manage expectations, and challenge requirements when appropriate.

Performance Optimization

• Optimize Tableau dashboards and reports for performance and scalability.
• Ensure efficient query usage and reporting performance.

Documentation & Support

• Document data sources, reporting methodologies, and dashboard logic.
• Provide support and training to end-users to maximize dashboard adoption and usability.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with databases (preferably Snowflake or SQL Server Management Studio).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with spreadsheets and structured data (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.).
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with contact center operations and analytics.
• Familiarity with other BI tools such as Power BI or Looker.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
