Key Responsibilities
Technical & Functional Responsibilities
Document end-to-end business flows and detailed functional specifications to support development teams.
Gather, analyse, and validate business requirements to meet customer operational needs.
Lead transition phases from design to implementation, offering testing support, clarification, and guidance.
Support testing cycles, implementation activities, and ensure smooth transition to BAU.
Produce high-quality documentation, solution designs, and functional insights.
Ensure product continuity, enhancements, and adherence to quality standards during releases.
Business Knowledge
Apply strong understanding of business processes within the travel and airline industry (or related domains).
Procedural & Methodology Responsibilities
Ensure deliverables meet Amadeus quality and compliance standards.
Apply required methodologies, frameworks, and internal procedures effectively.
Collaborate seamlessly with team members and cross-functional partners.
Build strong working relationships across teams, business areas, and regions.
Skills Development & Behavioural Attributes
Demonstrate strong problem-solving capability, handling complex scenarios with minimal supervision.
Operate independently while contributing to team objectives and shared outcomes.
Continuously develop technical competencies and product knowledge.
Show autonomy in applying processes, tools, and analytical methods.
Ideal Candidate Profile
6–10 years of experience across Business Analyst and Product Owner roles.
Strong background in Travel, Airline, or Travel Technology domains (highly preferred).
Proven expertise in Agile/Scrum, requirements documentation, backlog grooming, and stakeholder management.
Hands-on experience as a Product Owner within a Scrum team is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with an ability to translate complex technical concepts for business stakeholders and vice versa.
Strong collaboration skills, problem‑solving mindset, and comfort working in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
Advise customers on product capabilities, enhancements, and potential workarounds across complex functional areas.
Develop a holistic view of work processes and how they interact within wider Amadeus products.
Stay up to date with industry trends, standards, and emerging needs.
Influence industry practices through business networks and working groups.
Proactively grow expertise in new business domains and product areas.
