What success looks like in this role:

• Gains familiarity with and applies Software Engineering and Agile concepts, practices and methodologies.
• With guidance, performs standard Software Engineering duties for an assigned team; duties may include:
 o Serving as a participating member of teams tasked to develop, improve and delivery product / system elements and features,
 o Developing software components and writing unit and system tests to provide coverage for common code paths,
 o Identifying and automating manual tasks,
 o Evaluating and responding to bug submissions,
 o Ensuring application of secure coding practices, and
 o Along with more senior colleagues conducting performance testing and identifying / resolving uncovered issues.
• Learns and applies industry and company Software Engineering standards, policies and guidelines.
• Participates in special projects as assigned.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the requirement and understand the solution from designers and implement with minimum guidance.
  • Development of the respective feature in line with design.
  • Test and demo the developed features for acceptance.
  • Understand the codebase and resolving the defects and enhancing the product maturity.
  • Analyzing the issues reported on the providing solution approach and providing solution to the issue
  • Deliver assigned tasks on schedule with expected quality
  • Proactive and shows positive attitude to do better on every day.
  • Good Team player.

Skills – Mandatory

  • Business Analyst skills – Ability to communicate with Subject Matter Experts(SME), other Stakeholders and document the requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for automations and process improvement.
  • Develop technical process flows and system diagram.
  • Ability to analyse and communicate technical information.
  • Design and develop technical solutions.
  • Good Python coding skills including ML experience (development of any AIML model is a plus )
  • Good knowledge of AIOPs Concepts.
  • Good understanding on Java/J2EE ( App Server )
  • Web Services- SOAP and RESTful
  • Frameworks knowledge (ML algorithms)
  • Good understanding on the unit testing tools and methodologies
  • Good knowledge on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and any RPA tool like Automation Anywhere.
  • Good Knowledge on any IT Service Management tool like ServiceNow and its automation capabilities
  • Good understanding on SQL and Service Now tool.
  • Exposure in Microservices Architecture, RPA, Containerization and Cloud Concepts.
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal
  • Quick learner and excellent aptitude and problem-solving skills

Skills – Desired

- Good understanding on Agile Methodologies

  • - Knowledge in ITIL framework for handling support activities
  • - Good understanding on DevOps practices.
  • - Good understanding on version control tool – Clear Case/Git is desired
  • - Experience in any RPA tools like Automation Anywhere or UiPath

Education:

  • Engineering Graduate or Engineering Post Graduate in Computer Science / Information Science / AI discipline.
