Being part of Remote People means being part of a growing, international family.</p></div><p><strong>Role Summary </strong></p> <p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Bank Reconciliation Analyst to join our growing Finance team. In this role, you will support the daily and monthly reconciliation of bank accounts across multiple entities and jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and completeness in our financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who wants exposure to a fast-paced, multi-entity global environment.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong></p> <p>β€’ Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple entities using Xero and other ERP systems</p> <p>β€’ Match bank transactions to the general ledger and investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner</p> <p>β€’ Maintain accurate records of reconciliations, supporting documentation, and escalation logs</p> <p>β€’ Assist in processing and coding bank transactions, including inter-company transfers and multi- currency entries&nbsp;</p> <p>β€’ Prepare basic reconciliation reports and summaries for review by the Lead or Accounting Manager</p> <p>β€’ Coordinate with the Accounts Payable and Treasury teams to clarify payment and receipt details&nbsp;</p> <p>β€’ Flag unresolved or unusual items for senior review and follow through to resolution&nbsp;</p> <p>β€’ Support month-end close activities including bank statement downloads and reconciliation sign- offs</p> <p>β€’ Assist in maintaining and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for reconciliation processes.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience Required</strong></p> <p>β€’ 1–3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a finance operations role</p> <p>β€’ Hands-on experience with Xero (preferred) or equivalent cloud-based accounting software&nbsp;</p> <p>β€’ Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and basic accounting principles</p> <p>β€’ Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large volumes of data</p> <p>β€’ Proficiency in Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas) and Google Drive for document management</p> <p>β€’ Good written and verbal communication skills in English Preferred</p> <p>β€’ Experience in a multi-entity or multi-currency accounting environment&nbsp;</p> <p>β€’ Exposure to NetSuite, Airwallex, or similar platforms</p> <p>β€’ Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is a plus</p> <p><strong>What We Offer&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>β€’ Fully remote role with a globally distributed team&nbsp;</p> <p>β€’ Exposure to complex, multi-jurisdiction finance operations</p> <p>β€’ Structured onboarding and mentorship from experienced finance leaders&nbsp;</p> <p>β€’ Opportunity to grow within the Finance &amp; Accounting team</p><div class="content-conclusion"><h2><strong>What it's like working at Remote People</strong></h2> <p><strong>Our service &amp; product</strong>.
