Junior Business Analyst
Job Description
We’re looking for a Junior Business Analyst to join our Group Functions Change team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys solving problems, working with people and turning business needs into clear, practical requirements.
You’ll be supported by experienced Business Analysts and Senior Business Analysts, while gaining hands-on exposure to change and transformation projects across the business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting requirements gathering across change and transformation projects
- Working with Business Analysts and Senior Business Analysts to understand business needs
- Helping document processes, requirements, risks, assumptions and dependencies
- Contributing to analysis planning, prioritisation and progress tracking
- Supporting workshops, stakeholder discussions and solution conversations
- Helping assess solutions against business requirements, costs, benefits and risks
- Communicating updates clearly with project teams and stakeholders
- Supporting customer-focused digital journeys that are accessible and easy to use
Who we’re looking for:
- An interest in business analysis, change, transformation or project delivery
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with different stakeholders
- Ability to listen, ask good questions and turn information into clear documentation
- Good attention to detail, with a structured and organised approach
- Confidence raising risks, issues or dependencies when something needs attention
- Customer-focused thinking and an interest in improving how things work
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience would be helpful
- Previous exposure to requirements gathering, process mapping or project support would be advantageous
