Parra Consulting Group (PCG) is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to support DOI IBC-AQD Mission Support Services. This position assists with budget execution, invoice review, and financial reporting activities in support of acquisition and program operations.
This successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Assist in reviewing contractor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contract terms.
- Support budget execution tracking and basic financial reporting for assigned task areas.
- Assist with data entry and reconciliation in agency financial management systems.
- Support preparation of routine financial status reports and briefing materials.
- Assist senior analysts with cost/price analysis worksheets during acquisition actions.
- Maintain financial documentation in accordance with agency recordkeeping requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field plus 0-2 years of relevant experience, or 4 years of directly relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust determination.
- S. citizenship required to support this federal contract.
Required Experience
- Basic understanding of federal budget execution and appropriations concepts.
- Proficiency with MS Excel for data tracking and basic financial analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to federal financial management systems (e.g., FBMS or comparable ERP platforms).
- Coursework or certification in federal financial management.
- Prior experience supporting a federal contract or agency finance office.
