Overview:</div> <div>We are looking for a Junior Trading Operations Analyst to join the DV Commodities team in London. This is a middle-office role, working closely with traders and senior operations to support the day-to-day running of the trading desks. You will monitor trading activity, resolve issues in real-time, and help improve the processes and tools that underpin the company’s performance. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is hands-on, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced trading environment.</div> <div> </div> <div>Responsibilities: </div> <div> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Act as primary support for the trading desks, handling ad-hoc queries from traders and stakeholders</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform daily PnL reconciliation and reporting, investigating and resolving discrepancies</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Monitor pricing and risk, identifying and escalating issues where necessary</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Serve as the first point of contact for operational and trade-related issues</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Investigate breaks across internal systems, brokers, and exchanges, coordinating with relevant teams to resolve them</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Contribute to process improvements and controls to reduce manual work and operational risk</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Work on data-driven projects to improve reporting, transparency, and operational efficiency</li> </ul> Requirements:  <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">0–2+ years of experience in trading, operations, or a data-focused role</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Finance, Accounting or Data Science</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong attention to detail and ability to debug issues across data, systems, and workflows</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong Excel skills</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Hands-on experience using Python and/or SQL to work with and analyze data</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Interest in trading and energy markets</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to stay organized and effective in a fast-paced, real-time environment</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with traders and stakeholders</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience with or interest in automating workflows</li> </ul>   DV is not accepting unsolicited resumes from search firms.
